Rikishi pitches potential end to Jey Uso vs Jimmy Uso match at WWE WrestleMania 40

The Bloodline story reached a big turning point, when Jimmy Uso turned his back on Jey Uso at WWE SummerSlam 2023. The complete drama made Jey quit The Bloodline & SmackDown to join the Raw roster, making a singles identity for himself. On the other side, Jimmy patched himself back into The Bloodline as a heel and continued doing things for The Tribal Chief & the family.
Although they both were deviated to achieve their own goal, Jimmy’s jealousy reinstated the tensions and resulted in a Brother vs Brother (Jimmy Uso vs Jey Uso) match at WrestleMania 40. This is one of the most anticipated matches in the card, now The Usos’ father pitches the potential end to the match.
Rikishi wanted Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso to reunite at WrestleMania 40
On the Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast, the veteran said that he is proud of his boys, Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso as it’s going to be emotional for their family. It is a dream match which is going to be a treat for the world. Rikishi also pitched a potential end to their matches, where he wants them to walk back together holding hands to end their story.
Rikishi said,
“I can’t tell you how proud I am to see the boys, as we get closer to WrestleMania, it’s going to be emotional for my family. The dream match that they have asked for is now reality. It’s going to be definitely a treat for the world, and I can only pray that they go out there and perform. I would love to see them walk back together. I would love to see my boys at WrestleMania 40 walk back together, holding back together, holding hands so that story can close.” [h/t Fightful]
Rikishi previously picked his side on Jimmy Uso vs Jey Uso’s match and wished Jey Uso to win the match. The Uso’s father said,
“Jey is having a hell of a year as a single. Jimmy’s the same as far as being involved in the group with The Bloodline and so, to see the steam that Jey is having as a singles career, it only makes sense from a business standpoint. If I was on the board of TKO or WWE, we’d have to go with YEET. I would feel that would be the best business move, to be able to let Jey get the upper hand for WrestleMania against his brother,”
