Top four rivalries WWE should book before 2025 ends

Rivalries are a key element in shaping WWE storylines!
Coming out of Clash in Paris, WWE is entering a crucial stretch in the back half of 2025. With Wrestlepalooza, Crown Jewel, Survivor Series, and multiple editions of Saturday Night’s Main Event still ahead, the company must deliver marquee rivalries to carry momentum into WrestleMania season.
The year has seen highs and lows. Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria produced electric chemistry, though their SummerSlam payoff disappointed. On the other hand, John Cena and Cody Rhodes stumbled on the microphone but ended their feud with a show-stealing SummerSlam Night Two main event.
Now, as WWE looks to close out the year with impact, here are the top four rivalries that must happen before 2025 concludes.
4. Roman Reigns vs Bron Breakker

Roman Reigns’ battles with The Vision faction have been personal ever since Paul Heyman betrayed him at WrestleMania 41. While he toppled Bronson Reed at Clash in Paris, Reigns was left lying after Breakker and Reed assaulted him post-match.
The logical payoff is Reigns vs Breakker one-on-one. WWE wisely protected Reigns at Clash, saving a major loss for when it truly matters. A victory over Reigns would cement Breakker as a generational star, while a strong feud keeps Reigns relevant before his inevitable clash with Seth Rollins.
If timed correctly, this rivalry could dominate Crown Jewel or Survivor Series, providing a blockbuster main event.
3. Seth Rollins vs Jey Uso

Seth Rollins is juggling his rivalry with CM Punk, but once that ends, he’ll need fresh challengers for the World Heavyweight Championship. Enter Jey Uso.
Uso wasn’t pinned in the Fatal 4-Way at Clash in Paris and still hasn’t had a proper rematch since losing the title earlier in the year. Their May encounter on Raw ended in chaos, leaving unfinished business between the two.
Rollins vs Uso offers a ready-made story, a fresh challenger, and matches guaranteed to deliver. It would bridge Rollins’ title reign toward WrestleMania season while keeping Uso firmly in the main event conversation.
2. Iyo Sky vs Asuka

The seeds are already planted for this rivalry. Friends turned uneasy allies, Iyo Sky and Asuka’s partnership is showing cracks.
Asuka has grown frustrated with Sky’s association with Rhea Ripley and her refusal to accept help from Kairi Sane. A heel turn feels inevitable, and costing Sky her Women’s World Championship at Wrestlepalooza would be the perfect catalyst.
A full-fledged feud between Sky and Asuka is not only long overdue but also ensures two of WWE’s best in-ring performers are spotlighted heading into 2026. Their history, combined with their styles, promises unforgettable matches.
1. Tiffany Stratton vs Bianca Belair

The SmackDown women’s division desperately needs a jolt. Tiffany Stratton has carried the Women’s Championship since January, but her current feud with Jade Cargill has cooled.
Bianca Belair is the answer. The EST has been sidelined with injury for most of the year, but a surprise return, coupled with a heel turn, could shake up Friday nights. Belair dethroning Stratton would reignite the division and give SmackDown a marquee rivalry to build around.
For Stratton, facing Belair legitimizes her reign, while Belair gets the chance to redefine herself in a role fans have long wanted to see.
Will Roman Reigns vs Bron Breakker happen in 2025 or be saved for WrestleMania?
It’s expected to happen before WrestleMania, as WWE is likely saving Reigns vs. Seth Rollins for the grand stage.
Is Bianca Belair returning as a heel?
Reports suggest WWE may experiment with a heel run for Belair to freshen her character and elevate Tiffany Stratton.
Could John Cena’s last match be against Drew McIntyre?
It’s possible. While Brock Lesnar is lined up for Wrestlepalooza, WWE could give McIntyre the honor of Cena’s final opponent in December.
