Roman Reigns no longer advertised for 9/13 WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns could have a longer time off from WWE TV than expected

Roman Reigns made his long-awaited return at WWE SummerSlam 2024 to attack solo Sikoa and help Cody retain his Undisputed WWE Championship.

Roman made his SmackDown return the following week (August 9, 2024) and brawled with the new Bloodline and tried to take the Ula Fala from Solo Sikoa, however, Solo escaped with the Samoan Necklace, but the Infamous Tonga Loa and Solo’s right-hand man Tama Tonga became the victim for Roman’s assault. 

Roman Reigns also appeared on the August 16, 2024, episode of WWE SmackDown at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida, United States and brawled with the new Bloodline and had the Ula Fala around his neck, until Jacob Fatu made his return and The Bloodline brutally assaulted him.

Following the attack, backstage reports revealed that Roman could take a long hiatus and potentially reveal his next appearance date as per WWE’s official website. However, the reports reveal a major change in Roman’s next scheduled appearance.

Major change in Roman Reigns’ next WWE appearance

WWE on their official website advertised Roman Reigns for the September 13, 2024 episode of SmackDown on September 13, 2024, in the Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle, Washington, United States. However, the Stamford-based company has removed Roman from the main graphic advertisement for the show, and he is no longer scheduled to appear at the event, as of now.

Roman is replaced by Miss. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton on the main graphic and currently featured stars include Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Nia Jax, Bayley, Solo Sikoa & Stratton.

However, WWE could intentionally have removed Roman from the September 13 episode of SmackDown, to make his return a surprise. On the other hand, Roman might make his return before or after the date. As Roman made his return and initiated the feud with Solo Sikoa, a long hiatus in the rivalry could make the SummerSlam return angle go in vain.

There is a big rumor backstage that Roman could return with The Original Bloodline to stop Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline with the backup. All these make it clear that Roman could not be working for the upcoming Bash in Berlin PLE on August 31, 2024, in Berlin, Germany.
