Roman Reigns’s Bloodline is set to face Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline at the final PLE of 2024
The Original Tribal Chief of WWE, Roman Reigns recently sat down with Sports Illustrated for an interview. During the interview, he confirmed his involvement in the Raw’s debut episode on Netflix.
The OTC further discussed his interactions with the current Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, and his former brother from The Shield faction, Seth Rollins.
Reigns is currently ready to take on Solo Sikoa and his faction in a WarGames clash at the Survivor Series PLE. The OG faction which is led by Reigns consists of Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso. While the rogue faction led by Solo Sikoa consists of Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.
‘The Visionary’ Seth Rollins was approached several times by the OG faction to join as the fifth member of the WarGames clash. Rollins declined the offer and is currently not booked for any match at the PLE.
The Undisputed WWE Champion is set to defend his title against his former friend, now rival, Kevin Owens at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14. This intense rivalry between Rhodes and Owens will reach its climax at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on that date.
Roman Reigns breaks silence on post-WrestleMania 40 moment with Cody Rhodes
During the interview with Sports Illustrated, Reigns was asked about not having a moment backstage with The American Nightmare after their historical clash.
There’s no need. But if you want to sit out there and babyface for four hours, then I ain’t waiting, you know what I mean? Especially at that point. What’s waiting? You know what I’m saying, I mean what kind of time are we talking about here? There’s a lot of stuff… Exactly, and there’s a lot to be had in that night as well. And I don’t live in Philly. There’s some jet fuel to be burnt and I had to go,” The OTC stated.
Rhodes broke Reign’s 1316 record-breaking title reigns when he defeated the OTC at the 2024 WrestleMania to win the Undisputed WWE title.
Roman Reigns keeps Seth Rollins at a chair’s length
During the interview, Reigns was asked about the moment when he hit Rollins with a steel chair at WrestleMania 40. Many fans speculated that it was an intentional call back by Reigns to the Sheild days.
The OTC cleared the air and said every chance he gets to beat Rollins he will take it. He further added that Rollins is a constant reminder of who to trust. Reigns also disclosed that he likes to keep his former Shield brother at a ‘chair’s length’.
“Anytime I have a chance to f*ck him up, I’m gonna take it, that’s how I feel about him. He’s a constant reminder and a lesson to myself on who to trust, and how to trust them, and if you can’t, how to keep ‘em. And that’s where I like to keep him, a chair’s length away.” Reigns stated.
There is still a lot of bad blood between Reigns and Rollins as the Visionary also made it clear while rejecting the offer to join the OG faction for WarGames. Rollins stated that he would not help a ‘tyrant’ like Reigns regain power.
