WWE is planning a triple-threat match for the main event of WrestleMania 41
Roman Reigns has shown a desire to reclaim the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Meanwhile, a wrestling veteran has stated that the Original Tribal Chief may challenge for the title in a big Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 41.
Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defeated The Bloodlineâs Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood 2024 PLE. Following the contest, The Rock made an unexpected return after a nearly six-month hiatus. Although he didnât say anything, The Final Boss counted to three on his hand before making a cutthroat motion at The American Nightmare, The OTC, and Jimmy Uso.
Speaking on the REBOOKED podcast, wrestling veteran Matthew Rehwoldt (aka Aiden English) stated that, while the company desired a Rock against Reigns battle, the creative staff may wind up arranging a Triple Threat, with the two stars meeting Rhodes for the championship at WrestleMania 41.
âI think [The] Rock and Roman is definitely a goal. They didnât get it last year. They pivoted. I think they want that freaking match. âMania has done [it] a lot of times with Triple Threats. Is this gonna build to a WrestleMania 41 Triple Threat for the title? Roman wants his title back,â he said.
Fans unhappy with WWE planning a triple threat at WrestleMania 41
All of sportsâ greatest dynasties must come to an end at some time, and WWE fans want to witness the last match between Roman Reigns and The Rock at WrestleMania 41.
Dwayne âThe Rockâ Johnson returned to WWE in early 2024, to considerable fanfare. He returned to TKO Group Holdingsâ Board of Directors, although it was also announced that he was involved in the arrangements for WrestleMania XL.
This event became the key plot leading up to WrestleMania 40, and many believe that The Rock was the mastermind behind this fantastic scenario.
A Twitter user by the name of @reigns_era shared a fantasy booking where he called for a match between Reigns and the Rock for the Ula Fala.
Fans immediately agreed that this would be a wonderful thing to see and would make some sense, and a lot of noise has been generated in the hopes that WWE will listen and make it happen.
