The OTC kicked off the year by reclaiming the Ula Fala

“The OTC” Roman Reigns bounced back at the end of 2024 after losing to Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline at the Crown Jewel 2024 PLE, to team up with CM Punk to battle Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline in the men’s WarGames match at the Survivor Series 2024 PLE.

Despite a tough opposition, Reigns and company, which consisted of The Usos, Sami Zayn and CM Punk, emerged victorious, decimating Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline, which consisted of Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Bronson Reed.

After winning the WarGames match, Reigns wanted to recapture the Ula Fala, which was stolen by Solo Sikoa during Reigns’ absence after WrestleMania 40. Roman wanted to reclaim the sacred Ula Fala and restore order, Sikoa accepted the challenge and the two stars were set to battle in a tribal combat match.

The tribal combat match was set for the historic debut episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix, which took place on January 6 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, USA.

After all the sneak attacks, humiliation, and losses, Roman Reigns emerged victorious as he decimated Solo, despite outside interference from Sikoa’s Bloodline and reclaimed the Ula Fala, forcing Sikoa to acknowledge “The Original Tribal Chief”.

After reclaiming the Ula Fala, Reigns enters the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match to win the match and challenge the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, the man who shattered his 1316-day title reign. However, Reigns was eliminated by CM Punk as he was brawling with Rollins, Punk was shortly eliminated by Logan Paul.

As Punk and Reigns argued after being eliminated, Rollins launched an assault, landing two brutal stomps on Reigns, and then started brawling with Punk. This attack left Reigns injured and forced him out of action.

Roman Reigns made his highly anticipated return on the 03/10 episode of Monday Night Raw, which emanated from Madison Square Garden during the steel cage match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk. Reigns pulled Rollins out of the cage, effectively meaning that Rollins had escaped the cage and therefore won.

However, Reigns had one goal in mind and it was to exact his revenge on Rollins as he returned the favor and landed a brutal stomp ringside, as Reigns was going for the second stomp on the steel steps, officials and security rushed in to diffuse the situation.

As expected, the promotion booked a triple-threat match between the three at WrestleMania 41. Reigns, Punk, and Rollins clashed in the main event of night one of the PLE on April 19. Seth Rollins emerged victorious in the match as Paul Heyman betrayed both Reigns and Punk.

Reigns’ singles clash against Bronson Reed at Clash in Paris, where he edged out a victory, was his most recent in-ring appearance.
