In an unexpected turn of events, Samantha Irvin left WWE recently
Ahead of the WWE episode of RAW last week, WWE’s ring announcer and musician Samantha Irvin announced her departure from the company after spending three transformative years in the promotion.
The popular ring announcer officially confirmed her exit through a heartfelt farewell message on her social media platforms. Apart from her announcing role in the promotion she also earned recognition for her deep passion for wrestling which began in her youth.
She was introduced to WWE through Hall of Famer Mark Henry, and her journey culminated in a meteoric rise that paralleled some of the in-ring talent she worked alongside.
Irvin was replaced by Lilian Garcia. Garcia will resume full-time for her ring-announcing duties. She began her duty immediately on last week’s broadcast of WWE RAW, announcing the New Day vs the Authors of Pain.

Samantha Irvin left the promotion on good terms
Irvin’s sudden departure left many fans wondering the reason behind her departure which led to many theories circulating on social media. However, reports suggest that the WWE and Irvin parted ways with each other on good terms and the company also has not ruled out any future cameos in the promotion by Irvin.
Samantha Irvin recently cleared the air regarding her departure via her Instagram. She revealed that she didn’t want to continue ring announcing and didn’t particularly enjoy it.
“I don’t like announcing,” Irvin wrote in the comments of her Instagram post announcing her resignation. “I’m serious! Announcing was only supposed to be my way in. I wanted to manage, maybe even become general manager one day.
But WWE saw no other future for me besides announcer. I love watching the action but I don’t love being an announcer.” She concluded.
As per reports, Irvin had been considering leaving WWE “for about a year” prior to her shocking announcement to expand on her music career.
