Seth Rollins has been a remarkable performer at The Biggest Party of the Summer in recent years.

The Visionary of WWE, Seth Rollins, is known to be one of the athletic and prime in-ring competitors in WWE today. The former World Heavyweight Champion has a rich history in regard to WWE’s upcoming PLE, SummerSlam, over the years.

With Seth Rollins yet to find his path for The Biggest Party of the Summer this year, let’s take a look back at Rollins’ all-time WWE SummerSlam PLE record.

SummerSlam 2014

In a highly intense lumberjack match, Seth Rollins debuted as a singles performer at the 2024 SummerSlam edition against his former Shield brother, Dean Ambrose. The match was a sight until Rollins nailed Ambrose with his Money in the Bank briefcase to score a cheap victory.

SummerSlam 2015

Seth Rollins walked into the 2015 edition of WWE SummerSlam as the WWE Champion to battle the WWE United States Champion, John Cena, with both titles on the line. The final moments of the bout saw Cena being attacked by popular TV celebrity Jon Stewart, leading to Rollins picking up the win and becoming a double champion.

SummerSlam 2016

Seth Rollins had the opportunity to create history at the 2016 edition of WWE SummerSlam when he faced off against Finn Balor to crown the first-ever WWE Universal Champion. Despite Balor being injured mid-match, Rollins was unsuccessful in his bid to capture the new title, losing the match to Finn Balor after he executed a Coupe De Grace.

SummerSlam 2017

WWE SummerSlam 2017 saw a brief Shield reunion, as Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose reunited for a tag team match. Their compelling command led them to dethrone The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) to become the new RAW Tag Team Champions.

SummerSlam 2018

One of the greatest matches in Seth Rollins’ history with SummerSlam came at the 2018 edition of the show. Rollins successfully defended his WWE Intercontinental Title against Dolph Ziggler in a highly exhilarating showdown that stole the entire show with its amazing in-ring action by the two talented performers.

SummerSlam 2019

After Brock Lesnar cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to snatch the WWE Universal Title away from Seth Rollins, The Beast Slayer bounced back and slayed him at the 2018 WWE SummerSlam event to capture his second Universal Title in a stellar showdown.

SummerSlam 2020

Rey Mysterio’s son, Dominik Mysterio, wrestled his first-ever WWE match at the 2020 edition of SummerSlam against a veteran like Seth Rollins. Despite his best effort and almost defeating Rollins in his first match, Dominik ultimately fell to the wrath of then-Monday Night Messiah.

SummerSlam 2021

The highly anticipated showdown between The Rated-R superstar Edge and Seth Rollins, after he came out of retirement in 2020, finally took place at the 2021 SummerSlam event. The jam-packed action thriller came to its conclusion when Edge locked in a Bulldog Choke to make Rollins submit and claim the victory in a spectacular showdown.

SummerSlam 2023

In a high-stakes rematch from their 2016 edition encounter, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defended his title against Finn Balor. The match saw various similar spots from their previous bout, but the result favoured Rollins this time as he nailed Balor with a Stomp to retain his title.

SummerSlam 2025

After being out of action due to injury for around three weeks, Rollins appeared after the main event of Night 1 of SummerSlam 2025 and revealed that his injury was part of the ‘Plan B’. Rollins then went on to attack CM Punk, who moments before defeated Gunther to win the title.

Rollins then cashed in the Money in the Bank contract and landed the stomp to pin CM Punk and capture the World Heavyweight title.
