Seth Rollins talks wrestling, Crown Jewel, life, & more on The Pivot Podcast
In a recent appearance on the Pivot Podcast, ‘The Visionary’ Seth Rollins revealed the names of his all-time favorite opponents in the WWE. The Pivot Podcast is hosted by former NFL Stars Channing Crowder, Fred Taylor, and Ryan Clark.
Rollins is currently involved in a savage feud against ‘Big’ Bronson Reed, the two stars collided at the Crown Jewel 2024 PLE. The Visionary emerged victorious in their meeting at the Saudi PLE earlier this month.
Despite the brutal loss, Reed was determined to get even with Rollins which he did the following Monday (11/04) episode of Raw. Reed’s interference cost Rollins the opportunity to get a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.
Seth Rollins was fighting against Sheamus, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio in a fatal-4-way match to determine the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Title. Reed not only cost Seth the opportunity but he attacked The Visionary and put him through the announce table.
Seth Rollins names three opponents he loved being in-ring with
The Visionary has had a long and illustrious career in the WWE as he has shared the squared ring with many newcomers as well as legends. He has also been involved in many historical feuds and storylines.
During his conversation with Channing Crowder, Fred Taylor, and Ryan Clark, The Visionary talked about his journey in wrestling and life outside the ring, Crown Jewel PLE, his personal life and also named his favorite opponents.
Rollins named his former brother from ‘The Shield’ faction’ Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley) as one of his favorites, “Some of my favorite guys that I’ve ever been in (the ring) with, (Dean)Ambrose, is one of them. You know, you mentioned rivalries, when we broke up The Shield, he and I really got together and did a lot of great stuff in the early part of our careers.
We just complemented each other kind of really well. I was sort of flashier, hard-hitting athletic, but he was more raw, visceral, and nasty. You know, more of a Roddy Piper and I was more of a Shawn Michaels.” he further added.
Rollins shared two other names in his list of favorite opponents which were John Cena and Brock Lesnar. “John Cena is a guy that I had really great experiences with. John and I did six to nine months of live events to the point where we were like, we knew each other so well.
I would blink and I knew what he was talking (about), And he knew what I was talking about. We just knew each other. I learned so much working with John as a performer and as an entertainer.” Rollins added.
“You know, (Brock)Lesnar was always an interesting one too because he’s a beast of a man. He thinks of things in our industry in such a simple way, it’s like a beautiful simplicity, his psychology.
I’m, you know, as the name dictates, an architect, so I have all these different things running on in my head at the same time so too, kind of like put those things together when you got the Synergy there was some certain magic.” The Visionary commented on sharing the squared ring with Lesnar.
