Some huge matches are being planned for WrestleMania 41

The 2025 edition of the Royal Rumble PLE emanated from the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and featured multiple high-octane matches. In the main event of the PLE, 30 men participated in the men’s Rumble match to get a shot at the champion at WrestleMania.

‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, and ‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk also took part in the match as the three stars looked to claim victory and headline WrestleMania. After reclaiming the Ula Fala Reigns wanted to win the match and regain the Undisputed WWE title from Cody Rhodes.

On the other hand, Punk wanted to win the match and realize his dream of headlining WrestleMania. Rollins too wanted a win to challenge the current World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and reclaim the title.

The OTC entered the match at number 16 while Punk and Rollins entered at the 24 and 25 numbers respectively. Reigns and Rollins’ dream came crashing down as during their in-ring battle Punk capitalized and eliminated both of them.

However, Punk too was shortly eliminated by Logan Paul as after he eliminated Reigns and Rollins. While Reigns and Punk argued Seth launched a vicious attack as he landed a double foot stomp on the concrete floor on Reigns and started brawling with Punk.

Rollins continued the assault on his former Sheild brother as he delivered another brutal stomp this time on the steel steps, causing Reigns to collapse as the officials checked on the OTC.

Roman Reigns is out of action for an undisclosed amount of time

During the 02/03 fallout show of Monday Night RAW, Michael Cole from the commentary booth provided an update on Reigns’ situation, he revealed that he only had information that Roman permitted him to share with fans.

While Cole didn’t provide any specific details he did informed that Reigns will be sidelined for the foreseeable future, likely causing him to miss WWE’s second PLE before WrestleMania 41, Elimination Chamber

Following the Monday Raw episode, On February 4, PWInsider Elite it was revealed that Reigns will face Rollins and Punk in a triple-threat match at WrestleMania 41. According to the report, Reigns’ absence is due to the storyline.

“For EVERYONE who has asked, my belief is the Roman Reigns is “out of action” reference made by Michael Cole was more of a way to explain his absence in the storylines short-term than anything else.  Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins, currently, is the plan for Wrestlemania 41.”

The Second City Saint defeated Sami Zayn in the Elimination Chamber qualifying match on this week’s episode of Raw to advance and join John Cena in the men’s Elimination Chamber match which will take place at the PLE on March 1.
