A Jey Uso heel turn might be on the horizon in light of recent events.

Since becoming a singles competitor in 2024, Jey Uso has emerged as one of the top attractions in WWE. From his YEET movement taking over every WWE arena to finally winning the World Championship at WrestleMania 41, Jey has become a major babyface star on RAW.

However, recent weeks are pointing towards the end of that babyface run approaching, which could be a new direction for The YEET man. So here are five signs that Jey Uso might turn heel in WWE soon.

5. Attacking LA Knight

Jey Uso dropped a major sign of turning heel at the end of the September 8 edition of Monday Night RAW. After helping his Jimmy Uso and LA Knight fend off an attack from The Vision, Uso took down The Megastar with a spear, which left his brother Jimmy and the fans stunned at the show’s closing.

4. Disagreement with Jimmy Uso

Before LA Knight’s main event match against Bronson Reed on the September 8 edition of RAW, Jimmy Uso met Jey Uso backstage to ask him to have Knight’s back in the match.

However, the YEET man bluntly refused him, which led to Jimmy saying that Jey was sounding like peak Roman Reigns as the Tribal Chief, being a major sign of a heel turn.

3. Taking Roman Reigns’ advice

Roman Reigns was a top heel during his time as World Champion and the Bloodline leader. In recent months, he was seen side by side with Jey Uso and even advised him to think only about himself and getting to the top, which he is seemingly following en route to possibly becoming a monster heel like Reigns.

2. Desperate to win back the World title

Jey Uso’s recent promos have shown major desperation to win back the World Heavyweight Championship ever since he lost it in June 2025. That can push him to the brink and resort to underhanded tactics to claim it again and turn heel in the process.

1. Jimmy’s prediction from 2023 is coming full circle

Jimmy Uso cost Jey Uso a chance to win the WWE championship at SummerSlam 2023. In a promo segment on SmackDown, Jimmy justified it by saying that he betrayed his brother so that he would not become a ruthless and corrupted star like Roman Reigns, which he is moving towards right now.

Moreover, it is also likely that WWE would circle back to that prediction and use it as part of the storyline to make Jey Uso a heel.

Has Jey Uso been a heel in WWE?

Yes, during his run with The Bloodline and The Usos tag team.

Is Jey Uso a former World Champion?

Yes, Jey Uso won his first and only World Championship at WrestleMania 41, defeating Gunther.
