Triple H might have derailed the push on certain WWE superstars under his new regime.
WWE witnessed the dawning of a new era at WrestleMania 40, with WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque at the helm of the corporate structure. While many WWE superstars have been pushed to the moon with significant TV time and storylines, others still have not been able to make an impact.
Looking at the current WWE landscape, television programming and storylines, here are the top six WWE superstars that Triple H might have given up on:
6. Andrade El Idolo
According to multiple reports, Triple H had always been a fan of Andrade El Idolo’s in-ring work ethic and credibility as a WWE superstar. It was primarily the reason he chose to bring him back to WWE El Idolo in 2024. However, despite having much hype upon his comeback, Andrade has not garnered significant traction and reaction from the audience, possibly leading to Triple H relegating him to meaningless storylines.
5. Karrion Kross
Karrion Kross returned to WWE in 2022 and was revealed to be a Triple H signing. Kross’s amazing NXT run was completely overshadowed by his failed main roster run following that, and The Game wanted to change that with his second run. However, since then, Kross has not been able to generate any buzz among the WWE Universe or featured in any prominent storylines, possibly derailing his push by Triple H now.
4. Omos
The 7-foot-tall Nigerian Giant was envisioned as the next gigantic superstar to achieve massive success in WWE. However, since his defeat at the hands of Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39, Omos was relegated to mid-card programs and then disappeared from WWE television, hinting at his monster push being derailed by Triple H and his regime.
3. Apollo Crews
Since his debut, Apollo Crews has donned every possible gimmick in WWE, from a beloved babyface to a narcissistic heel with Kommader Aziz. However, none have been able to captivate the WWE Universe all those years, and now Triple H and his new regime might be moving ahead with Apollo Crews, who is only used as an enhancement talent now.
2. Austin Theory
Austin Theory was envisioned to be the next blue-chip prospect ever since he was paired with former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. From title runs to a classic WrestleMania showdown with John Cena, Theory was being groomed to be the next top star. But as soon as Triple H took over, Theory’s push was derailed significantly, and with him and Grayson Waller losing the tag titles recently, The Game might have given up on him as a credible star.
1. Zelina Vega
Zelina Vega is considered to have all the tools to succeed as a top WWE superstar. From impressive in-ring athleticism, smashing promo skills and a captivating persona, Zelina has it all. But despite that, Triple H and management have failed to give her a meaningful push and seemingly move ahead with her in their top plans. But her recent #PushZelina movement could change everything for her.
