WWE SmackDown Results, Highlights & Winners (March 29, 2024): Jade Cargill aligns with Bianca Belair & Naomi

Orton & Owens chased Logan Paul, Jade Cargill attacks Damage CTRL, New Catch Republic, Theory & Waller qualify & much more!
The March 29, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is officially over and it is one of the must see episode on the road to WrestleMania. A number of great matches and segments are featured in the show including the tag team qualifying matches and the arrival of Jade Cargill. Get to know what happened on this week’s episode of SmackDown, as we came out with the complete summary, highlight, resuls and grades for the show.
SmackDown Summary & Results
Randy Orton & Kevin Owens vs Pretty Deadly
Kevin Owens and Kitt Wilson starts the match, with Owens taking control of him, locking in thr corner. Orton and Prince got tagged in, where Orton took both out after 10 punches to the face. However Pretty deadly took control, by hitting a backdrop on Orton through the announce table.
After the commercial, Randy Orton back dropped Elton Prince and tagged Kevin Owens & Prince tags in. Owens took him down and went for the top rope, but Wilson stopped him. Orton went to counter him, but Logan Paul with Brass Knuckles to knock out Kevin Owens. Pretty Deadly with the assist wins the match.
Orton went to ask, why he lost and the big screen reveals Logan’s video. Orton went to find Logan & took him to the announcement desk, but Pretty Deadly stopped him. Owens & Orton with a KO & RKO took Pretty Deadly down. They then went on to chase Logan Paul, but he escaped with a car.
IYO SKY Backstage Promo
IYO SKY has cut a promo backstage, where she said Bayley made them champion to get credits. She says that she is a tragedy to WWE. SKY promised to take Bayley down at WrestleMania. After the interview Bayley attacked IYO and both got separated.
Jade Cargill signs with SmackDown
Jade Cargill makes her first live appearance on SmackDown. Nick Aldis introduced her and she signed her contract. Cargill says that WWE has the best Women’s roster and not everyone is Jade Cargill. She cuts a quick promo.
Backstage- Damage CTRL
Damage CTRL is interviewed backstage, where Kai spoke about Cargill’s appearance & said that she will take down Bianca Belair tonight and show a glimpse of what could happen to Bayley at WrestleMania.
Backstage- Nick Aldis & AJ Styles
Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn tried to stop Aldis, but Fyre took her away. AJ Styles asked Aldis, is he sure that LA Knight is not here & he said Knight to stay in home tonight.
Street Profits vs Austin Theory & Grayson Waller
Ford and Waller start the match, where Waller & Theory with a double team tried to take Ford down, but Ford sneaks and tagged Dawkins. As Theory & Waller took Ford down. Dawkins threw Waller over the announcement desk as Street Profits take control, before the commercial.
After the commercial, Waller from the middle rope, but Dawkins took him with a Suplex. Ford got tagged in and he is fired up. He took down Theory down with a backdrop and a standing Moonsault. But Waller stopped the fall.
Dawkins took Waller down and Theory with a backbuster, Ford went for the top rope, but a backstage video of Kross attacking Lashley distracted them. Dawkins went to save Lashley, Ford looks for a Frog Splash, but Theory has his knees up and rolled him for the win.
After the match, AOP attacked Street Profits and Kross joined them to take Profits down. Lashley urged to the ring to attack Kross, but ended up getting laid down, as the numbers game plays out.
Legado Del Fantasma, Dominik Mysterio & Latino World Order
Santos Escobar says that he hate to be that guy, but she said right. He says that he defeated Rey last week, who was a great Luchador in the past. Dominik Mysterio joins Escobar in the stage. Rey says that he is done with Dom. He says that seeing them against them is a divine intervetion. Rey challenged Escobar and Dom against Rey and partner he choose for a tag team match at WrestleMania. Rey introduced Dragon Lee as his tag team partner and as the newest member of LWO.
Zelina and Lopez start the brawl, as Zelina slaps Eliktra. Escobar kicked Lee and everyone involves in the brawl. In the end LWO stands tall, with Carlito taking Dom out of the ring, and Dragon Lee hit a Swantom Bomb over them.
Backstage
Naomi thanked Belair for having her back last week. She wished Belair good luck and motivated her for the match tonight. Naomi also assured that she got her back, if Damage CTRL interferes.
The Judgment Day
The Judgment Day is not told about Dom’s involvement in the LWO vs LDF match. Ripley says that anyone got anything to say. They all feel WrestleMania is important for them individually.
New Catch Republic vs Legado Del Fantasma
During the commercial and the backstage segment, the match began, where LDF took control of Pete Dunne. Dunne however fights back by extending his fingers. Dunne tags Bate in and he is fired up. Bate took both Garza and Humberto down and hit them with a Swanton bomb to take control.
After the commercial, Bate took Humberto to a Swing, but Garza stopped him. LDF threw Bate down from the top rope and went for a pin, but Dunne stopped him. Dunne hit Garza with a DDT to send him out. Garza hit a running Knee on Dunne and Bate. Bate escapes and hit him with a big right hand. Dunne gets tagged in and both hit a Double Tyler Driver for the win.
The Bloodline
Paul Heyman on backstage addressed what Rock done to Cody Rhodes, under the order of Roman Reigns. Jimmy then cut a promo against Jey, saying that he won’t make it to WrestleMania as he will be facing Solo Sikoa next week. Solo promised that he would keep Roman’s promise.
AJ Styles & LA Knight
The Phenomenal One is here with the mic. He says that the WWE Universe made Knight invade his house last week. He says that he made him reach his first WrestleMania match. Styles says that Aldis assured Knight is not here, but he doubts that he might be here.
Styles thought it was the camera man, but he’s not. A guy tried to invade, Styles thought it is Knight, but he’s not & securities took hi out. Styles says that he is done with mind games and asks where he is. Knight is right behind him, dressed like a security guard.
Knight attacked Styles and took him to the ring. Knight hit him with a corner splash and tried to attack him with the chair. Styles escaped to the audience area. Knight over the announcement table cut a promo against him to end the segment.
Tiffany Stratton
Tiffany Stratton had a special video package of her, recalling her career into gymnastics and to WWE.
Bianca Belair vs Dakota Kai
Belair takes strike against Kai right away. Kai fights back countering the corner splash and spear to the mid-section with a roll down. However Belair took her for a vertical suplex, but Kai escaped with a knee to the head and hitting her head first to the ring post.
After the commercial, Belair fights back and connected the Vertical Suplex. Belair took Dakota to the corner and hit ten punches to the face and a Gut buster. Belair hit a Glam Slam and a Lion Sault but not enough. Kai escaped the second Glam Slam and hit a stomp to the back of the neck.
Kai kicks Belair on the face and asking her to fight back. Belair and Kai exchange hands, Kai hit a Scorpion kick and looks for a big boot, but Belair took her on the shoulder for a KOD, but Kai escaped landing on the apron. Kai looks to hit her with a knee, but hit her knee to the ring post. Belair hit the KOD for the win.
After the match
Kabuki Warriors attacked Belair, and Naomi came for the save. Naomi and Belair tried to take down all the three, but the numbers game played out. As Damage CTRL were dominating, Jade Cargill came for the save. Jade kicked Asuka to the gut, hit a pop-up powerbomb to Kai and a Jaded. She aligns with Belair and Naomi to end SmackDown.
