WWE NXT is going to hold the Great American Bash 2025
WWE NXT is building strong momentum heading into The Great American Bash 2025, and thanks to spoilers from this week’s tapings at the Performance Center, as first reported by WrestlingInc.com, fans now have a sneak peek at two major matches confirmed for the premium live event.
Scheduled for July 12 at Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, Georgia, the event will set the stage for a high-stakes weekend that also includes Saturday Night’s Main Event and WWE Evolution.
Yoshiki Inamura punches his ticket for WWE NXT Great American Bash 2025
In a taped episode set to air next week, Yoshiki Inamura officially punched his ticket to The Great American Bash after winning a number-one contender’s match against Jasper Troy.
The bout was made after Inamura responded to Oba Femi’s open challenge earlier in the night. Although Inamura was attacked by Troy before the match could be confirmed, the Japanese powerhouse got his revenge with a hard-fought win.
Inamura’s showdown with Oba Femi, who has now held the NXT Championship for over 165 days. This will mark his first-ever opportunity at WWE gold.
With both men known for their incredible strength and raw intensity, this has all the makings of a show-stealing clash at The Great American Bash on July 12 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Women’s tag match sets the stage for Evolution
Meanwhile, the women’s division is also heating up. Following her win in the four-way Evolution elimination match, Jordynne Grace is officially set to face Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship at WWE Evolution on July 13. But before that happens, both women will be involved in a preview tag team match on July 12.
Grace will team up with rising star Blake Monroe to take on the duo of Jayne and Fallon Henley. With tension already building ahead of Evolution, this tag bout could set the tone for the championship clash just 24 hours later.
WWE is stacking its Atlanta weekend with Saturday Night’s Main Event, The Great American Bash, and Evolution all lined up. The next two weeks of NXT programming should finalize the rest of the card.
