WWE is set to take over Saudi Arabia for the Crown Jewel 2024 PLE
WWE is ready to host the 2024 Crown Jewel PLE on November 2, 2024, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event will showcase storylines built in the lead-up to this exciting show this week.
WWE returns to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday for its sixth Crown Jewel pay-per-view event. Two ‘Champion vs Champion’ matches are booked in the Saudi event. Cody Rhodes is set to face Gunther for the inaugural Men’s Crown Jewel Title while Liv Morgan is set to face Nia Jax for the inaugural Women’s Crown Jewel Title.
WWE legend Paul Levesque better known among fans as ‘Triple H’ has been leading the creative direction for the PLE and the company’s regular programming for some time now. During his tenure, Levesque has made many changes and revitalized the careers of several stars.
However, there are still a few talents that have not yet received the spotlight they deserve as a result their potential remains dormant. Levesque can shift his focus after Crown Jewel to these stars and give them a chance to prove their worth and talent on the Raw and SmackDown roster.
Here is the list of five WWE stars that Triple H needs to elevate after Crown Jewel 2024 PLE.
5. Blair Davenport
Blair Davenport debuted in WWE earlier this year after the 2024 WWE Draft. Since then, she has struggled to find her place on the roster. Although she has made a few appearances on SmackDown, she has been largely absent from WWE programming for an extended time.
Levesque should push Davenport on the Blue brand as a heel as she would fit perfectly in the role. There has also been a scarcity of top heels in the women’s division of the Blue brand.
The company can put her in storylines that would her the young talent to position herself as one of the future stars. WWE can also involve her in feuds against stars such as Bianca Belair, Bayley, Jade Cargill, and Iyo Sky. This would help her establish herself among fans and become a strong heel.
4. Iyo Sky
Iyo Sky is currently a part of Damage CTRL on the Raw brand and is among the most skilled stars. She has many accolades in the squared ring including winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships alongside Dakota Kai and defeating Bianca Belair in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WWE Money in the Bank 2023.
However, she has failed to make a mark in the fan’s eyes as she has fallen victim to poor booking lately. Sky needs a push by the WWE top brass which would help her regain her lost momentum. The promotion should also book her in top matches which would give her the push to emerge as the top baby face in the Red brand.
3. Tommaso Ciampa
Tommaso Ciampa’s arrival on the main roster sparked massive expectations among WWE fans. However, even his #DIY reunion with Johnny Gargano failed to make any buzz among fans. The company is not utilizing Ciampa’s potential which has made his character lifeless.
Levesque should push Ciampa and revive his heel persona of The Blackheart from NXT. This would establish Ciampa as a terrifying heel on SmackDown. The WWE should also push the split of #DIY and push him into singles competition to revive his career following the Crown Jewel PLE.
2. Lyra Valkyria
On the current roster, Lyra Valkyria is one of the upcoming stars who has the most potential to become the face of the Women’s division. However, recently the company’s motives regarding her career have been questionable. Valkyria has been involved in random storylines and matches on Raw.
After the Crown Jewel PLE, the company should push the young talent who has been endorsed by WWE star Becky Lynch. Valkyria has the potential to become one of the top names in the women’s division with a little help from the top brass. The former NXT champion can be put in a storyline with some of the heels of the red brand which would help her become a household name.
1. Finn Balor
Finn Balor is currently part of Judgement Day for a long time but he has failed to make his mark on fans during his tenure. His involvement in lackluster storylines has failed to create any impact among fans.
A main event push is what Balor’s career needs right now for a revival. Many fans believed that Balor should have reached an immense height at this point of his career and should have been the Heavyweight Champion by now.
Balor needs a drastic character change similar to his ‘Prince’ gimmick from NXT which would help Balor regain his footing his the company.
