John Cena has already declared for the Elimination Chamber match
John Cena has begun his WWE retirement tour, and the ‘Greatest of All Time’ hopes to capture another world championship before retiring. WWE extensively promoted Cena’s final run with the business, and the icon came near to winning the 2025 Royal Rumble. WWE fans are eager to see what the future holds for their favorite babyface, particularly with Elimination Chamber on the horizon.
John Cena has already declared for the bout, therefore he does not need to qualify. He will be imprisoned within the steel building alongside CM Punk, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre and two more stars.
His hopes may be dashed if any superstars were announced for the contest, or if outside meddling occurred. Cena may lose his final opportunity at a world championship bout at WrestleMania.
Here are the five WWE stars that may cost John Cena the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match early next month.
5. Omos
Omos hasn’t been on television in months. He last competed in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal in April 2024 and lost.
AJ Styles just returned from an injury and stated that he would love to bring Omos back into the ring behind the scenes. However, the Nigerian Giant might return on his own and make an impression to get things started ahead of WrestleMania 41.
Omos recently declared that he would like to “take a stab” at John Cena and retire him from wrestling. Their enmity might flare up if Omos arrives in the Elimination Chamber to attack Cena either before or during the fight, losing him in his world title clash.
The Greatest of All Time has competed against some of the greatest athletes in sports entertainment history. He might help put The Nigerian Giant on the map with a major match at WrestleMania 41.
4. Logan Paul
Logan Paul is a major villain in WWE. The crowd enjoys booing him, and he might go to extreme lengths to win even more support. At Elimination Chamber, John Cena and Logan Paul might have a terrific ring exchange. Ultimately, The Greatest of All Time may eliminate Paul from the contest.
After Cena was eliminated, the Maverick could unleash his fury by hitting him. He might leave the 16-time world champion in a heap, letting someone else to pin him and ruining his WrestleMania goal. The outcome might be a major showdown between John Cena and Logan Paul at The Show of Shows. The two part-time employees may put on a spectacular spectacle that would make headlines all around the world.
3. Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens has been on a wicked and twisted journey since he became heel. He has used the outlawed Package Piledriver maneuver to harm Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and his former closest buddy Sami Zayn.
The Prizefighter might return to the Elimination Chamber and do something similar to John Cena on the steel structure. This might prevent Cena from finishing the match and leave him injured for some time.
The two may then renew their feud at WrestleMania 41. Kevin Owens may argue that John Cena is the “Cody Rhodes of the past,” which is why he despises him.
2. Randy Orton
Randy Orton hasn’t competed since Kevin Owens slapped him with the outlawed Package Piledriver. Many WWE fans are eager for The Viper to return and take his revenge on The Prizefighter.
However, Orton’s priorities list may look quite different coming into WrestleMania 41. The Viper might return at the Elimination Chamber to enter the cage if a superstar escapes and assaults John Cena, costing him the match.
Randy Orton’s motivation may be as simple as keeping Cena from hosting another Mania main event and even shattering the world title record. He might possibly set out to break the record before retiring.
1. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns will watch from the sidelines as CM Punk and Seth Rollins are expected to join the Elimination Chamber fight, with an Undisputed WWE Championship bout at WrestleMania on the horizon.
Following what transpired at the Royal Rumble, the OTC may return to the show to infiltrate the steel structure and target both Punk and Rollins. Roman Reigns might unintentionally knock out The Greatest of All Time during his onslaught on the two guys, costing him the bout.
While Reigns is expected to face Punk and Rollins in a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania, he might face John Cena in a feud following the big PLE.
