WWE Evolution can see top-tier superstars make their return.

The WWE women’s division is set for a historic night in the Stamford-based promotion. They will present WWE Evolution 2025 on July 13 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The all-women’s Premium Live Event will produce its second edition after the first show in 2018.

With superstars of the past like Trish Stratus and present like Tiffany Stratton being scheduled for the show, there is a chance of seeing top stars back on this monumental night. Here are seven marquee WWE names that could make their return at Evolution 2025:

7. Victoria

A top name in the Ruthless Aggression era of the WWE women’s division is Victoria. She was a dominant in-ring competitor who made significant strides and won multiple Women’s titles in her career.

In 2025, she signed a legends deal with the company, and appeared on a SmackDown show, making it a huge possibility for her to make her return at Evolution.

6. Mickie James

Mickie James returned to WWE last year and recently became a mentor in their new reality series, WWE LFG. She was one of the decorated competitors who wrestled at the first Evolution event.

With his history, accomplished career, and current association, she is one of the top names who can come back for Evolution 2025.

5. Gail Kim

Gail Kim is one of the top trailblazers of women’s wrestling. While she had lackluster runs in WWE, Kim made a huge impact with her work in TNA Wrestling, both as a wrestler and an authority figure.

With TNA and WWE coming together for a multi-year partnership and Kim already making an appearance at an NXT PLE, she could also appear at Evolution.

4. Brie Bella

Nikki Bella returned to RAW a few weeks ago to kick off the festivities for WWE Evolution this year. This sparked rumors that her sister, Brie Bella, could make her comeback too, although she revealed that WWE has not reached out to her yet. However, it could be a setup to make her return even more thunderous.

3. Lita

Another WWE legend who competed at the first Evolution event was Lita. The high-flying legend, alongside her counterpart, Trish Stratus, had a tag team match together.

With Stratus returning to challenge Tiffany Stratton for her Women’s title, Lita could join in the festivities at Evolution 2.

2. Saraya (fka Paige)

After leaving AEW, former WWE superstar Saraya has been linked to a return to the global juggernaut for weeks. While she has taken a break from wrestling, the Anti-Diva could shock the world by returning at Evolution 2 and starting a new tenure in the company.

1. AJ Lee

AJ Lee retired from WWE in 2015 at the prime of her career and claimed that she had no plans to return to wrestling. However, she recently dropped a photo of her wrestling boots, sparking massive rumors about her comeback.

Should that be the scenario, she could receive one of the loudest pops of all time, and Evolution 2 could be the perfect stage for the same.
