The American Nightmare returns to Friday Night SmackDown tonight!
The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is set to make his return to Friday Night SmackDown tonight. The April 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to emanate from the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.
The American Nightmare went head to head with John Cena on three consecutive shows of Monday Night Raw during the European tour, which ended with Rhodes flatling Cena and standing tall with the title on the March 31 episode of the Red brand in London.
Ahead of his appearance tonight on Friday Night SmackDown, let us take a look at the top three stars who might confront the American Nightmare in Seattle.
3. Randy Orton
‘The Viper’ Randy Orton is currently in a bad mood following the news that his match with Kevin Owens is canceled due to Owens being injured. Orton already confronted Cody on the March 28 episode of the Blue brand where he lauded Rhodes’ achievement and stated that he will challenge him for the title after the Mania PLE where he beats Kevin Owens, the unpredictability of the Viper might be on display tonight.

2. Drew McIntyre
Another familiar face confronted Cody Rhodes during the March 28 episode, one who was not very friendly, Drew McIntyre not only disputed Orton’s claim for the title but also stated that it should have been him at WrestleMania.
McIntyre is also set to face off against Damian Priest ahead of their Mania clash, however, he might confront Rhodes challenging the Champion for a match after the grandest stage.
1. The Rock
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been absent from WWE programming since the Elimination Chamber PLE where John Cena turned heel as Johnson joined in the beatdown of Rhodes. The Rock might make a surprising appearance during the segment and confront Rhodes, making the title clash at Mania even more intriguing for fans.
