The April 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to emanate from the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. The show will further shape the final match card for the WrestleMania 41 PLE, which is set for April 19 & 20 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The promotion has announced multiple matches and segments for the 04/11 show including the return of the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes who is set to defend the title against John Cena at the grandest stage.

Cody Rhodes returns

‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes went head to head with John Cena on three consecutive shows of Monday Night Raw during the European tour, which ended with Rhodes flatling Cena and standing tall with the title on the March 31 episode of the Red brand in London.

Rhodes is now set to make an appearance on this week’s show of the Blue brand where he would likely cut a promo hyping up fans for the PLE.

Women’s Tag Team Gauntlet Match

A women’s Gauntlet match is also announced for the show where six different tag teams will battle for the number one contender spot for the WWE Women’s Championship. The winner of the match will battle the current champs Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez at the WrestleMania 41 PLE.

Damian Priest & Drew McIntyre face-to-face

After their fiery promos on the 04/04 show, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest are set to go face-to-face on this week’s show, and with the level of animosity between the two, chaos will ensue when they meet. The promotion will likely announce a match between the two for the WrestleMania 41 PLE and the segment will be used to build towards that.

Rey Fenix vs Berto

Following his debut last week, where he defeated Nathan Frazer in a singles match, Rey Fenix is now set to battle Legado Del Fantasma’s Berto in a singles match. The match was set up following a backstage segment between Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Angel & Berto).

• In the United States, Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico the show can be watched live at 08 PM ET, 07 PM CT & 05 PM PT this Friday on the USA Network.
• In Canada, the show will be aired live this Friday on Netflix at 08 PM ET.
• In the United Kingdom & Ireland, the show will be live at 01 AM, this Saturday on Netflix.
• In India, the show will be live at 5:30 AM IST this Saturday on Netflix.
• In Saudi Arabia, the show will be live at 03 AM this Saturday on Netflix.
• In Australia, the show will be live at 10:00 AM AEDT this Saturday on Netflix.
• In France, the show will be live at 02 AM CET, this Saturday on AB1.
