Stephanie Vaquer update is concerning.
Stephanie Vaquer’s latest WWE setback has raised fresh concerns about her availability after she was forced to miss the October 26 episode of Monday Night Raw. The former Women’s World Champion had been recovering from an ankle injury suffered during her triple threat title match against Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank on October 10.
Although the Chilean star before the show indicated that she had recovered and was medically cleared to compete, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that she was not cleared for her scheduled match against Lynch.
A new report has now suggested that the situation may be related to an illness rather than her previous ankle problem. According to reports published on October 28, Vaquer could be out of action indefinitely, leaving uncertainty around her immediate future.

Why is Stephanie Vaquer out indefinitely?
The latest update on the former champion comes after a confusing few weeks surrounding her recovery. Following the Money in the Bank event, the promotion acknowledged her ankle problem during a Raw backstage segment.
At the time, Vaquer suggested that the injury was not serious and that she would be able to return soon. She subsequently competed at WWE live events in Hawaii on October 16 and 17, offering some encouragement that her recovery was progressing.
On October 24, Vaquer announced that she was cleared to compete and was ready to face Becky Lynch on the following Monday’s Raw. The match was scheduled to determine the No. 1 contender for Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship. However, those plans changed when Pearce opened the October 26 show by confirming that Vaquer was not medically cleared.
According to PWInsider, Vaquer’s absence was believed to be illness-related rather than a continuation of her ankle injury. A separate report from False Finish described her expected absence as “indefinite.” This means that, despite her earlier announcement about being cleared, she is not currently available to compete.
Given that Vaquer was not available, Pearce provided Lynch an immediate chance to contend for the Women’s World Championship against Morgan in the main event. Lynch nearly came out victorious, although a distraction by Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez resulted in a disqualification finish, which allowed Morgan to retain her title.
It is yet to be determined whether Vaquer suffers any injury that can affect her future performances in the ring. No particular prognosis has been issued, and no date has been announced regarding her possible comeback.
Possible storylines for Stephanie Vaquer after her return

Despite the uncertainty surrounding her absence, Stephanie Vaquer could return to a significant role in the WWE women’s division. Her unfinished rivalry with Becky Lynch remains one of the most natural directions for the creative team to explore.
The two women were scheduled to compete in a No. 1 contender’s match, and their tension has continued since the triple threat contest at Money in the Bank. Once Vaquer is medically cleared, the creative team could revisit their planned singles match and allow the rivalry to develop further.
Liv Morgan could also remain central to Vaquer’s plans. Morgan defeated Vaquer to win the Women’s World Championship and successfully retained the title against Lynch on October 26, albeit by disqualification. A future championship programme between Morgan and Vaquer would give the former champion an opportunity to pursue redemption and reclaim the title she lost.
For now, the priority will be her health rather than rushing her back into the ring. Until WWE provides an official update, any proposed storyline should be treated as speculation.
Why is Stephanie Vaquer out of WWE action indefinitely?
Reports indicate that Vaquer’s latest absence is believed to be related to an illness rather than the ankle injury she suffered at Money in the Bank. However, WWE has not publicly confirmed a diagnosis or provided further medical details.
When will Stephanie Vaquer return to WWE?
There is currently no confirmed return date for Vaquer. Reports describe her absence as indefinite, meaning fans will have to wait for an official update.
