Penta became the latest acquisition for WWE at the start of the RAW on Netflix era.
WWE has made a remarkable new signing by bringing top AEW star, Penta El Zero M, to their side. Penta’s contract with AEW expired in November 2024 and he became a free agent. This led to Triple H and his regime signing the talented luchador with his debut finally happening on the January 13 edition of RAW on Netflix.
With ‘El Zero’ an official part of the Monday Night RAW roster, he would be looking to make a bigger impact than his AEW run. Moreover, his WWE tenure would see him compete as a singles star. So, here is a look at five possible feuds for Penta following his spectacular WWE debut:
5. Align with LWO
The luchador star had been a part of the tag team division alongside his real-life brother, Rey Fenix in AEW. He could begin his WWE tenure with a similar journey by aligning himself with Rey Mysterio’s LWO to gain experience in the WWE landscape. El Zero being under the tutelage of Mysterio and his cohorts could prove to be highly beneficial for his start in a new company.
4. Mid-card championship pursuit
There is no doubt that Penta is a bonafide luchador star all over the wrestling world. WWE could capitalize on that star power by putting him in pursuit of a mid-card championship. As Penta is now a part of RAW, he could go after Bron Breakker’s WWE Intercontinental Championship and win it somewhere down the line to elevate his status as a top WWE superstar.
3. Feud with American Made
Penta’s first feud in WWE could possibly be against the same man he made his debut against, American Made leader and former Olympian, Chad Gable. He delivered a power-packed performance against Penta, but he was able to overpower him with a combination of the Sacrifice and Penta Driver to seal the win. This could be the start of a prolific feud between Gable and his faction, which could see Penta finding allies of his own.
2. New Lucha faction
The luchador’s remarkable debut against Chad Gable could be the start of a brand-new all-Lucha faction in WWE. This could see current Luchadors, Dragon Lee, and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio join forces with Penta to form a new stable. Moreover, this could see the addition of more luchadors in the future, such as Penta’s own brother, Rey Fenix when his AEW contract comes to an end.
1. Feud with Rey Mysterio
The biggest feud to establish the luchador as a top-tier WWE superstar and make a huge impression at the start of his WWE career could be against one of the greatest luchadors of all time, Rey Mysterio. The WWE ‘Hall of Famer’ has never battled someone of the calibre of Penta, who is a huge sensation and a feud between them could be a marquee storyline for WWE.
