The 8/19 episode of WWE Raw features several storyline feuds

WWE successfully hosted the August 19, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw live from the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, United States. Several incredible matches and segments got featured on the show and set the stage for the newer storyline feuds for the upcoming weeks.

Here we take a look at all the storylines WWE teased on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.

Sheamus vs Ludwig Kaiser

Sheamus successfully defeated Pete Dunne despite an injured hand. After the match, Ludwig Kaiser confronted Sheamus backstage and said that he was not done with the Celtic Warrior. Kaiser not only confronted him but also challenged him for a singles match next week on Raw.

Braun Strowman vs Bronson Reed

The Miz challenged Bronson Reed for a no-disqualification match seeking revenge for Reed’s assault on R-Truth. Miz was unsuccessful in his attempt, as Reed pinned Miz for the win. After the match, he tried to attack Miz with another Tsunami, but Braun Strowman‘s music played and he stopped Bronson. Both have a staredown and teased that Bronson vs Braun Storwman will be the new storyline feud in the town.

Bron Breakker vs Jey Uso

Bron Breakker revealed that Adam Pearce has announced a tournament to determine the #1 Contender for his next challenger. On the same night, Jey Uso revealed that he is officially entering the #1 Contender’s tournament, based on the advice of Sami Zayn and he is planning to win the first singles title. All these hints suggest that Jey vs Breakker for the IC title is down, and will be down the road in the upcoming weeks.

Xavier Woods vs Odyssey Jones

Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston had a conversation about Kofi bringing Odyssey Jones to WWE Raw. Woods said that he doesn’t want Jones to be the replacement for Big E. To which Kofi made it clear that no one can replace Big E and he didn’t bring Jones to be on New Day.

Later the same night the New Day teamed up with Jones and faced The Final Testament in a six-man tag team match. During the match, Kofi tried to tag Woods, but Jones stood in the middle, which made Kofi tag Jones instead of Woods. Woods reacted negatively to the move. Woods was not tagged in till the end of the match, and Jones picked up the win. All these tease that Woods could turn on Kofi and Jones in the upcoming weeks.
