WWE SummerSlam 2024 is the upcoming and biggest PLE

WWE is all set to host the 2024 SummerSlam Premium Live Event on August 3, 2024 at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. This is the 37th annual SummerSlam PLE and it is the biggest event of the summer. As this event is the second biggest event of the company, the show is expected to be huge. The road to WWE SummerSlam 2024 has officially begun, here we take a look at five storylines to watch out for.

5. Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio & Rhea Ripley’s Triangle Love

Liv Morgan is on her revenge tour and has been taking everything that belongs to Rhea Ripley and took the title in the pursuit of attaining Dominik Mysterio & The Judgment Day. As Rhea Ripley is rumored to return on or before SummerSlam 2024, the storyline could play a major role in the Raw roster. The Triangle love between Liv-Dom-Rhea could drive the storyline to a new level.

4. Logan Paul vs LA Knight

Logan Paul and LA Knight already began their feud over the United States Championship. Their promos and selling their rivalry are already on another level. Their storyline build could be so entertaining, as both are known for their microphone and cat & mouse games. Since SummerSlam is in Cleveland, Ohio, the hometown of Logan Paul, there is a high chance that this match will be featured on the show, making it one of the biggest matches of both their careers.

3. Tensions between Damian Priest & The Judgment Day

Damian Priest and Finn Balor have been teasing internal tensions within them, as Priest wanted to prove that he can be the champion without Judgment Day members. On the other hand, Finn Balor and other members of Judgment Day feel Priest has changed after winning the world title.

The tensions are already teasing a potential split and this could be the peak storyline time in Judgment Day. Will the Damian Priest be kicked-out of Judgment Day or will Balor or other members of Judgment Day cost Priest his world title is the one to watch out for.

2. Cody Rhodes vs Solo Sikoa

Solo Sikoa recently pinned Cody Rhodes at Money in the Bank 2024, making him the only fourth person to pin Cody since his return to WWE. Solo Sikoa in Roman Reigns’ absence became the Tribal Chief of The Bloodline, and has now set his sights on the Undisputed WWE Championship. His win against Cody could help him earn the title shot and the Bloodline storyline could be back on track towards championships. The 3.0 version of Cody Rhodes vs The Bloodline is the one to watch out for.

1. CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been developing a bigger feud since the beginning of the year. Both took their rivalry to the extreme on the build, although Punk is not medically cleared to compete. Punk screwed all the championship matches of Drew Mcintyre and even his MITB cash-in at Money in the Bank. This made Drew lose his mind, who attacked the officials and Adam Pearce on the MITB post-show.

As both are thirsty for blood, CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre’s storyline on the road to SummerSlam is expected to be the biggest storylines in WWE and that’s the one to watch out for.
