The 10/4 episode of WWE SmackDown is the Bad Blood Go-home show!

The October 04, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be aired live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. This is the final episode of SmackDown before the 2024 Bad Blood PLE, which is held one day before the show.

WWE has booked some of the interesting matches and segments for the show. Ahead of this week’s show, here we take a look at the top five storylines to watch out for this week’s WWE SmackDown.

5. Naomi vs Tiffany Stratton

Last week on SmackDown, Naomi lost her match against Bayley and thus lost her opportunity to face Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship at Bad Blood. This made Tiffany Stratton mock Naomi backstage, resulting in a singles match this week.

As Naomi and Stratton are set to go head-to-head, there is a huge chance that Bayley and Nia Jax could be involved in the match favoring their allies. Will Naomi vs Stratton influence Jax vs Bayley match is one of the interesting storylines to watch out for.

4. AJ Styles return

‘The Phenomenal One’ AJ Styles is all set to make his WWE TV return, this week on SmackDow, after almost three months of long hiatus. What will the Phenomenal One do upon his return and who will be his opponent? What will be the new storyline angle for Styles is one of the things to watch out for.

3. Andrade vs LA Knight vs Carmelo Hayes

Last week, Carmelo Hayes attacked the US Champion, LA Knight backstage, before his match against Andrade. The backstage attack made Knight interfere during the match to attack Hayes, but the distraction made Andrade lose to Melo.

Following the loss, Andrade and Knight heated things between them backstage. At this stage, the triangular feud will officially kick start this week.

2. Internal heat between Kevin Owens & Cody Rhodes

Last week on SmackDown, it was made clear that Kevin Owens is having some issues with Cody Rhodes, for agreeing to team up with Roman Reigns. Owens pushed Rhodes in the final moments of SmackDown, as Cody’s accidental interference caused their match.

Although they tease heat, Owens hugged Rhodes to end the show. Will the issues be sorted out or Will Owens will turn on Rhodes is an interesting storyline to watch out for.

1. Final buildup for Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs The Bloodline

Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns ahead of the match against Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood, is expected to be on this week’s SmackDown and set to have the final buildup for their tag team match.

Both could have a face-off or could be involved in a big brawl, setting the hype for the match. What they will be doing this week to set the final hype is one of the interesting storylines to watch out for.
