This week’s Raw will emanate from Wisconsin!
The upcoming September 8 episode of Monday Night Raw will continue the ascent towards the upcoming Wrestlepalooza 2025. The show is set to air live from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. The show will revert to its original 8 PM ET slot for the show.
Multiple top names, including CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, Penta, and Jey Uso, are advertised for the show. Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer are set to sign the contract for their upcoming Women’s World title clash.
Lyra Valkyria is also set to battle one member of the Judgment Day (Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez). Ahead of this week’s show from Wisconsin, here are the top five storylines for the September 8 episode of WWE Raw.
5. Rusev chooses his next target

During last week’s show, Rusev cut a promo detailing how he triumphed over Sheamus in the Good Old Fashioned Donnybrooks match at Clash in Paris. Rusev also put the entire division on notice in the promo and might choose his next target on this week’s show. A potential mid-card title could also be in his plans moving forward.

4. Another Mexican Destroyer?
Penta, along with War Raiders (Erik & Ivar), defeated The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) and Grayson Waller in a six-man tag team match last week. Penta landed the Mexican Destroyer in the end to pin Woods. Apart from his defeat against Kingston, Penta has continued to humiliate Woods and deliver the Mexican Destroyer, and the feud is likely going to intensify in the coming weeks.
3. The Usos return?
In the main event of last week’s show, where Jey Uso and LA Knight suffered defeat in a tag team match against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, after the win, Breakker and Reed started punishing Jey, who was then saved by his twin brother Jimmy Uso.
Big Jim ran into the ring with a steel chair, causing Breakker and Reed to retreat. Jey, looking battered, said he needed him and couldn’t do it alone. This might be a not-so-subtle tease of The Usos reuniting, likely to take down the Bron Brons.
2. Women’s World title contract signing
During last week’s show, General Manager Adam Pearce addressed the future of the Women’s World title and announced that Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer will battle for the vacant title at the upcoming Wrestlepalooza.
Pearce also revealed that Sky and Vaquer will meet in the ring this week to sign the contract for the Women’s World Championship match. This will be their first meeting since the announcement of the match, and fans could expect a fiery on-mic battle.
1. AJ Lee’s appearance

The report adds that her appearance is expected to set the stage for a rumored mixed tag match featuring her and her husband, CM Punk, against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch at the upcoming Wrestlepalooza, which will take place on September 20 in Indianapolis.
