A packed schedule for May continues for WWE.
Live from the Food City Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, tonight’s May 11 edition of Monday Night Raw will address the fallout from Backlash 2026. The show will also continue the build towards a packed May, which features two PLEs and an SNME.
With the conclusion of Backlash, WWE will start the build towards the May 23 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event and the Clash in Italy PLE, which is set for May 31. Regarding tonight’s show, WWE has announced multiple matches and segments, including a six-man tag team match and Oba Femi’s open challenge.
All that and so much more will be in store for this Monday’s show. Let us take a look at the top four storylines that might be in play on the upcoming edition of WWE Raw.
4. Roxanne Perez’s loyalty
Two weeks ago, Finn Balor tried to persuade Roxanne Perez to leave Judgment Day, while Perez denied that the interaction caused doubt in Liv Morgan’s mind. Perez, however, proved her loyalty last week when she attacked Balor with the bell hammer, costing him the match against Perez’s stablemate JD McDonagh.
Despite the WrestleMania 42 win, WWE has decided to keep the storyline between Balor and the Judgement Day going, which means the drama isn’t over, and fans are in for more twists and turns.

3. SNME & Clash in Italy build

As noted, WWE has packed schedule this month, and after Backlash, the focus has been shifted to the upcoming May 23 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event and Clash in Italy, which is set for May 31.
WWE has already started building new storylines that might lead to matches at the aforementioned events. The continuation of ongoing feuds might also lead to clashes at the upcoming events.
2. Seth Rollins vs Bron Breakker
At Backlash, Bron Breakker defeated Seth Rollins in their first match (second ever in WWE) since Breakker betrayed Rollins and kicked him out of the Vision faction. The win in part came due to interference from the Vision members, including Paul Heyman.
The Vision is now set to take on The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) and Joe Hendry in a six-man tag team match. The match might be used to further the feud with a possible interference from Rollins. It will also be interesting to see how Rollins counters the numbers game and if he will join forces with the Street Profits.
1. Roman Reigns’ acknowledgment ceremony

General Manager Adam Pearce has revealed that Jacob Fatu will take part in Roman Reigns’ acknowledgment ceremony. This comes after Fatu launched a vicious assault on Reigns after the title loss at the PLE on Saturday. After the attack, an injured and irate Reigns stated that Fatu doesn’t belong here, and Backlash was his last night.
The ceremony has led many fans to believe that the feud between the two is likely to continue. Furthermore, Solo Sikoa’s potential involvement has added another layer to the speculation, especially since he has made it clear that Roman Reigns is not his Tribal Chief. As a result, fans are once again anticipating more Bloodline drama.
