The fifth Chamber Qualifiers will take place in Florida.
Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown is set to emanate live from the Amerant Bank Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The ongoing men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying matches are set to continue this week with two more matches scheduled.
Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair, and Kiana James will collide in the Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying match to decide the fifth participant in the match on February 28. On the men’s side, Trick Williams, Carmelo Hayes, and Damian Priest will battle for the fifth spot in the men’s Elimination Chamber match in Chicago for a shot at the Undisputed WWE title at WrestleMania 42.
Cody Rhodes, Tiffany Stratton, Randy Orton, Jade Cargill, and LA Knight are listed as featured superstars. Tonight’s show is set to ramp up the build toward the Chamber PLE, leading into next week’s go-home show and the event itself in Chicago. Let us now take a look at the top four storylines that might in play on tonight’s show.
4. Wyatt Sicks teases

Since Solo Sikoa, along with his MFTs, stole the iconic lantern and captured the WWE Tag Team titles, the Wyatt Sicks and Uncle Howdy have been cutting eerie promos warning of what’s about to come. However, no serious development has taken place in the storyline, excluding the promos.
This has severely damaged the feud and dampened fan expectations. WWE needs to put serious focus on the storyline to rebuild momentum, deliver compelling matches, and re-engage the audience.

3. Elimination Chamber Qualifiers

As mentioned, the ongoing men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying matches are set to continue this week, with two more matches scheduled to confirm the fifth participant in the two matches.
The episode will also set the stage for the go-home show next week, and fans should expect a few surprises and major moments to unfold in Florida tonight.
2. WWE Women’s title

During last week’s show, WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill defeated Jordynne Grace to retain the title in her first-ever title defense. The lack of contenders has severely hampered Cargill’s title reign, and now it seems like, despite the tease, Women’s Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan is likely going to pick Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer for WrestleMania.
Additionally, Bianca Belair recently underwent surgery, which means she is likely not going to return in time for Mania, leaving Cargill without an opponent that will excite fans. WWE will have to make some drastic changes and avoid running Cargill vs Tiffany Stratton for Mania, and should pick someone fresh to win at Elimination Chamber.
1. Drew McIntyre’s attack
During last week’s main event, Drew McIntyre attacked Jacon Fatu and Cody Rhodes in his attempt to help Sami Zayn win and qualify for the men’s Chamber match. However, Rhodes managed to outmaneuver McIntyre and bag the win.
The continuation of Drew’s antics will likely lead to chaos tonight, and with Sami Zayn now involved, Drew’s attempts to help him secure a victory could spark new tensions and unexpected alliances.
