CM Punk will kick off the 12/02 episode of WWE Raw
The 12/2 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is the fallout show from the Survivor Series 2024 PLE, which took place in the Rogers Arena, Vancouver on November 30th.
The PLE event lived up to expectations, showcasing five thrilling matches that included two intense WarGames battles and three championship bouts, complete with jaw-dropping maneuvers.
Following the PLE, WWE is all set for its regular programming of Monday Night Raw which will be aired live from the Angel of the Winds Arena, Everett, Washington, U.S.A.
Ahead of this week’s episode of the Red brand in Everett, Washington, let’s take a look at the top five storylines to watch.
5. The Bloodline saga
The OG faction which consists of Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn emerged victorious in their clash against the rogue faction which is led by Solo Sikoa.
CM Punk joined as the fifth member of the OG faction while Bronson Reed was the fifth man in the rogue faction. In the fallout episode of the Red brand, multiple SmackDown stars are set to make an appearance including Solo Sikoa.
It will be interesting to see where the storyline goes from here after the developments at the Survivor Series PLE. The OG faction might go on their separate paths or they might continue their alliance and finish the feud against Sikoa and company once and for all.

4. The New Day anniversary celebration
The Stamford-based promotion on this week’s episode of the Red brand will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the New Day faction. The iconic faction consists of Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods & Big E, and they have become one of the most successful tag teams in the promotion’s history.
The powerhouse of the faction, Big E has been out of action since March 2022, due to injury. He suffered a broken neck in his last match. The biggest worry for New Day’s fans is that there has been serious infighting and rift between Kofi and Woods in recent times.
This might spoil the anniversary celebrations, but fans are hoping for Big E to make a comeback and fix things between the two stars who got into a very personal argument backstage last week after their match against the Alpha Academy.

3. Damian Priest vs Finn Balor
‘The Archer of Infamy’ Damian Priest faced Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Survivor Series PLE in Vancouver last Saturday. This was a rematch from their first meeting where Gunther defeated Priest and took the title in the process at SummerSlam 2024.
Similar to their first meeting, the match was an intense battle between the two heavyweights as they battered each other for glory. However, the same fate awaited Priest as his former stablemate from Judgment Day, Finn Balor attacked him during the match.
Balor landed a coup de grace from the steel steps on the Archer of Infamy who was already dealing with an injured shoulder. This interference helped Gunther as he sealed the victory by putting Priest to sleep with a vicious submission.
Priest and Balor were involved in a brawl in the parking lot after the match as Priest attacked Balor. Finn was aided by his Judgment Day stablemates Carlito and JD McDonagh as they targeted Damian’s injured left shoulder.
The attack will reignite the feud between the two former stablemates, it will be interesting to see how the storyline moves forward following the brawl.

2. Rhea Ripley – Liv Morgan feud
Rhea Ripley decimated Liv Morgan in the women’s WarGames match as she pinned the Women’s World Champion to claim victory for her team in the first match of the PLE.
Morgan was the reason behind Rhea’s injury last month where she suffered an orbital fracture due to the attack by Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Despite her dominant win, Rhea has stated firmly that the feud is far from over. Rhea also sent a stern warning to Dominik Mysterio after last week’s triumph at Survivor Series.
“Revenge seems to be the topic of conversation when it comes to me and Liv, Dom is in that now as well. I’m not done with Liv, if Dom wants to stick his nose where it don’t belong, then I’m not done with Dom either.” Ripley said.
The team of Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez is scheduled to face Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane) in this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
1. What’s next for CM Punk?
‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk is set to kick off the Monday Night show with his electrifying presence. As mentioned earlier, Punk was involved in the men’s WarGames match as he teamed up with the OG Bloodline to take on the rogue faction led by Solo Sikoa.
The OG faction emerged victorious in the main event WarGames clash against the rogue faction. The Second City Saint will now kick off the show on Monday, there might be a possibility of him clashing with Seth Rollins or Gunther during his appearance.
Do you think Big E will be able to resolve issues within the New Day faction? Do you want CM Punk to face Seth Rollins next or fight Gunther for the title? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.
