The Vision is set to appear after last week’s betrayal!

The highly anticipated October 20 episode of Monday Night Raw is set to air live from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. The show will focus on the fallout from The Vision’s betrayal of Seth Rollins in the final moments of last week’s episode.

Multiple top names, including Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, Penta, and Becky Lynch, are being advertised for the show. The promotion has announced multiple matches and segments for the show, including three title matches.

Ahead of this week’s show in Sacramento, California, let us take a look at the top four storylines that will be in play on this week’s WWE Raw.

5. World Tag Team titles

WWE World Tag Team Champions The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) are set to defend the titles against the team of AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. The match was set up when Mysterio complained to GM Adam Pearce about his match with Rusev.

Fans have long been asking for the Creative team to include the titles, which have been shelved despite the Champions being actively involved in programming. It remains to be seen what will transpire on this week’s show and whether WWE will crown new champions.

4. Another upset win?

After her huge win over Becky Lynch on the October 6 show, Maxxine Dupri, in an interview with Cathy Kelly during the commercials last week, reacted to her victory over Lynch, before announcing that she will face Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental title this week in her hometown.

Dupri has improved leaps and bounds, and her feud with Lynch has only improved her stock. Currently riding high on the upset win, and with the hometown support, she might just pull off another upset win and capture her first WWE title.

3. The Rusev problem

After his successful title defense against Penta last week, Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio is set to defend the title against Rusev. The latter announced the match during an interview last week. Mysterio already defeated Rusev last month, but Dirty Dom cheated to retain the title.

Now, Rusev is determined to punish him and capture his first WWE title since returning in April. However, with reports suggesting that Mysterio will face John Cena at Survivor Series for the IC title, it’s likely that Mysterio will walk out as champion, possibly using some underhanded tactics.

2. The new Vision

In the final moments of last week’s show, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed turned on their leader, Seth Rollins, attacking him as Paul Heyman too sided with them to end the show. Reports have confirmed that Rollins is dealing with a shoulder injury from Crown Jewel that apparently necessitates surgery and is likely to keep him out indefinitely, possibly beyond WrestleMania.

General Manager Adam Pearce is set to address Breakker and Reed’s attack and will also offer fans an update on Rollins’ condition following the assault. Fans would have to tune in to see how the promotion writes off Rollins and what it means for the Vision moving forward.

1. World Heavyweight Championship

Seth Rollins is the current World Heavyweight Champion and, per reports, was set to defend the title against CM Punk at the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event. During last week’s main event, Punk outlasted Jey Uso and LA Knight to bag the number one contender spot.

The promotion might decide to book Bron Breakker against Punk for the vacant title. They also have multiple other options, which would likely be revealed on this week’s show.

When and where will the October 20, 2025, show of WWE Raw take place?

The October 20 episode of WWE Raw is set to air live from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.

What is the latest update on Seth Rollins?

General Manager Adam Pearce is set to address Breakker and Reed’s attack on their faction leader, Seth Rollins. WWE.com reports that Pearce will also offer fans an update on Rollins’ condition following the assault.
