A list of top stars could be in line to battle CM Punk with the World title at stake
CM Punk is set for an opportunity to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship he lost at WWE SummerSlam 2025.
The Best in the World defeated LA Knight and Jey Uso to become the No.1 contender on RAW, which took place in Perth, Australia. Moreover, he is likely to compete for the championship at the upcoming WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show in November.
However, it can be expected that Seth Rollins will not be his opponent after he was reported to have suffered a shoulder injury at WWE Crown Jewel. Should that be the case, here are the top five WWE superstars Punk can face for the World Championship.
5. LA Knight

LA Knight has been a part of the World title picture ever since he moved to Monday Night RAW. The Megastar is yet to receive a one-on-one opportunity at the gold. With Rollins possibly out of the picture, LA Knight could be a formidable replacement to battle CM Punk for the championship.
4. Jey Uso

Jey Uso led the charge of RAW as the World Champion for the first few months of 2025. The YEET man would like nothing but to reclaim the title. With his immense popularity and status as a top RAW attraction, he could be a challenge for CM Punk in a high-stakes title showdown.
3. Bronson Reed
Bronson Reed is coming off a huge victory at WWE Crown Jewel 2025, when he defeated The OTC Roman Reigns. Not only that, Paul Heyman has christened him and Bron Breakker as the future. So, WWE can continue its momentum and position him to battle CM Punk with the World Heavyweight title at stake.
2. Bron Breakker
Bron Breakker delivered the ultimate shocker right after CM Punk’s victory on RAW when he attacked his fellow cohort, Seth Rollins. Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman joined the fray and outcast Rollins from the Vision. Moreover, he held the World title over a fallen Rollins, which could be a hint that he might replace The Visionary in a title match against Punk.
1. Brock Lesnar
The reunion of Brock Lesnar and Vision’s Oracle, Paul Heyman, was teased at WWE Wrestlepalooza. With Seth Rollins exiled from his own faction, Heyman could recruit Lesnar to lead the charge of The Vision. This could also be The Beast’s ticket to another World Heavyweight Championship and take Rollins’ place to battle CM Punk.
Is Seth Rollins really injured?
Reports indicate Rollins is dealing with a shoulder or rotator cuff injury, though WWE hasn’t officially confirmed the extent of the injury. PWInsider reports that surgery is being discussed internally within WWE, but no final decision has been made yet.
Has Seth Rollins vacated the World Heavyweight title?
No, Rollins has not vacated the title; however, there is speculation that he might be forced to do so if his injury is serious and requires surgery.
