Top four superstars CM Punk can interact with on WWE NXT (September 17, 2024)

CM Punk is announced to appear for the 9/17 episode of WWE NXT!

On the September 10, 2024, episode of WWE NXT, the NXT General Manager Ava officially announced that CM Punk will be making his appearance this week on the black and yellow brand for a special announcement. She also teased that his announcement will be something relevant to the NXT Premiere on the CW Network this October. As the second city saint has been announced for the show, here we take a look at the top four NXT stars Punk could connect with on the show.

4. Joe Hendry

CM Punk could interact with TNA star Joe Hendry on WWE NXT tapings this week. Hendry is a Scottish man, who has a great connection with Drew McIntyre. Hendry has great respect for McIntyre and has praised him on a number of occasions. He revealed that McIntyre helped him build his career & Drew has also acknowledged Hendry saying that he believes in him. At this stage, Punk could confront Joe Hendry backstage and both could discuss McIntyre.

3. Luke Gallows

Although Luke Gallows is a part of the SmackDown roster, he primarily appears on the NXT roster. At this stage, CM Punk could reunite with Gallows on this week’s NXT. Both Punk & Gallows have a great legacy together under the faction ‘Straight Edge Society’. They could potentially meet each other backstage and could have a segment together.

2. Ethan Page

Ethan Page was the one who jumped ship from AEW to WWE following CM Punk and is the current face of the Black & Yellow brand holding the NXT title. At this stage, the Second City Saint could meet the All Ego inside the ring or backstage for a quick confrontation and chat could be a great meetup of the former AEW stars. The last time when Cody appeared on NXT, he met all the former AEW stars at once in the backstage segment & this could be something similar to that.

1. Roxanne Perez

It is well known that the bond between CM Punk & Roxanne Perez is like the father and daughter relationship. Roxanne considers Punk as a fatherly figure and an idol, however last time when Punk met her, she took a shot against him. As Roxanne is set to defend her title at NXT on CW in Punk’s hometown Illinois, Chicago, he could meet her in the ring and could lay a major special referee stipulation, which has been a rumor for a while in the WWE universe.
