The Women’s US will be contested in a rematch this week!

The August 1 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will air live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The episode will serve as the go-home show for the 2025 edition of SummerSlam, which is set for this weekend.

Multiple top names, including John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, Charlotte Flair, Randy Orton, and Tiffany Stratton, among others. Stars set to clash at the PLE will also meet for the final time on the go-home show.

After two weeks of back-to-back attacks, Damain Priest wants payback, while Aleister Black is looking to collect the debt, which is now inherited by Priest from R-Truth. The two stars will lock horns inside the squared circle on this week’s show.

Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena is set to make an appearance on this week’s show, ahead of his title defense in the main event of night two of SummerSlam.

Furthermore, Women’s United States Champion Giulia, who is now represented by a returning Kiana James, is set to defend her title in a rematch against the former Champion Zelina Vega on the go-home show.

Additionally, in a promo last week, “AAA World Tag Team Champions” Los Garza (Angel & Berto), along with Santos Escobar, issued an open challenge for the tag titles for stars from Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and AAA.
