Tiffany Stratton will be in title action on this week’s SmackDown!

The build towards Wrestlepalooza 2025, which will usher in the new ESPN era, will continue to intensify on this week’s episode of the Blue brand. The September 12 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to air from the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, USA.

Multiple big names, including Brock Lesnar, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, Randy Orton, and Jade Cargill, are advertised for the show. The promotion has also announced a grudge match as well as a title match.

Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre are set to settle the score inside the squared circle next week as they go head-to-head. The two stars are locked in a fierce feud, which reignited when Orton RKOed McIntyre two weeks ago.

Following their backstage interaction last week, WWE announced a title rematch where WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will defend the crown against Jade Cargill. This will be their first meeting since SummerSlam, where Tiffany defeated Cargill to retain the title.

‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar made his first appearance since SummerSlam 2025 and once again took out John Cena with vicious F5s. The two stars are now set to lock horns at the upcoming Wrestlepalooza. Ahead of the scheduled clash, Lesnar is set to make an appearance on this week’s show.
