Only a few WWE stars have pinned ‘OTC’ Roman Reigns

WWE underwent a drastic change when Roman Reigns made his return at the 2020 WWE SummerSlam event with a new personality.

That night marked the start of his run as The Tribal Chief, which made him one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time. During that tenure, so far, only five WWE superstars have been able to pin Reigns’ shoulders to the mat to mark a historic win in their careers.

5. Seth Rollins

Roman Reigns competed in his tenth WrestleMania main event in 2025 against Seth Rollins and CM Punk. The match saw a shocker when Paul Heyman betrayed both Reigns and Punk to side with Rollins.

The Visionary struck the final blow by smashing Reigns in the back with a chair and connecting with The Stomp to score the pinfall and win the match.

4. Solo Sikoa

Solo Sikoa took over the reins of The Bloodline after Roman Reigns went on hiatus following WrestleMania 40. This led to a rivalry between the duo after Reigns returned, and one of the matches saw Sikoa’s Bloodline (Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga) battle The OTC and his cousins, The Usos, at the 2024 WWE Crown Jewel PLE.

The highly captivating encounter between the Samoan stars saw Solo Sikoa win the match for his team by pinning Roman Reigns.

3. Jey Uso

Roman Reigns made a lot of enemies during his reign as the dominant Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. One of them was his own cousins, Jimmy and Jey Uso.

This led to a tag team match between The Usos against Reigns and his then-Enforcer, Solo Sikoa, at the 2023 Money in the Bank PLE. The ending saw Jey Uso hitting a thunderous splash and pinning Reigns, marking the first time he was pinned since 2019.

2. Bronson Reed

Bronson Reed squared off against Roman Reigns in a rematch in his home country of Australia at the 2025 WWE Crown Jewel PLE.

The duo clashed in an Australian Street Fight when they saw foreign objects used, action spilling all over the ringside, and interferences from Bron Breakker and The Usos. This led to Reigns’ downfall as Reed hit a massive Tsunami on him and pinned him to score the victory.

Roman Reigns had been an unstoppable force ever since he won the World Championship in 2020. However, the record-setting 1,316-day title reign of The OTC came to its demise at the hands of Cody Rhodes.

Following one of the most cinematic and stellar main event matches at WrestleMania 40, Rhodes hit multiple Cross Rhodes on Reigns and pinned him to become the new champion, handing him his first singles loss since 2019.
