Fans will not see these superstars for a while after the conclusion of the wrestling spectacle
We are mere days away from the 41st edition of the biggest show in the history of sports entertainment. WrestleMania is the grandest celebration of the art of wrestling, where fans all across the globe gather to witness the biggest names in the industry go toe to toe against each other.
Both nights will offer memorable segments, classic matches, and an unforgettable experience for the fans. Stars like John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso and Gunther are all involved in intense storylines that will reach their conclusion at the grandest stage of them all.
In recent years, it has become a trend for superstars to return or make their debut post-WrestleMania to bring freshness to the product. However, where some stars will be gearing up to make an impact on Raw or SmackDown, some will disappear into the sunset to get some time off. Join us as we list five WWE Wrestlers who could disappear after WWE WrestleMania 41.
5. Bayley
Bayley is one of the most important figures in WWE’s women’s division. She has kept fans invested in her character by reinventing herself on numerous occasions. Bayley won the 2024 Woman’s Royal Rumble and captured the world title at WrestleMania 40 in an acclaimed match against Iyo Sky.
However, after an underwhelming title reign, fans started losing interest in her programs. She is expected to take some time off from the ring after her WrestleMania match and come back stronger than ever.
4. CM Punk
WrestleMania 41 will be a very special event for ‘The Best in the World.’ He will be competing in a triple-threat match against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins which will main event on night one of the show. Not only he is on the verge of fulfilling his lifelong dream but he will be accompanied by his best friend, Paul Heyman to the ring.
However, WWE has planted some seeds for a shocking betrayal. The company has teased Paul backstabbing both CM Punk and Roman Reigns to join forces with Seth Rollins in recent weeks. If that happens, we might not see CM Punk on WWE for a while which will build anticipation and create more excitement about his eventual return.
3. Logan Paul
Logan Paul will go down as one of the best celebrity wrestlers of all time. He is a special attraction and brings a lot of eyes to the product. Paul’s in-ring ability was always incredible but he has improved his mic skills and storytelling capability exponentially in recent times.
He has competed on the show of shows for the past three years and his match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 41 will be one of the biggest highlights of the entire event. On top of being a wrestling performer, Paul is also a businessman and has other commitments outside of the WWE.
2. Cody Rhodes
The name at the second spot on our list is of the ‘American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes. After finishing his story at WrestleMania last year, Cody has been the face of the company. He is main-eventing WrestleMania for the fourth time in the last two years, which shows the trust WWE has in him.
His match against John Cena is the most anticipated showdown of the entire show and fans are eager to see them go face to face. This will be the last WrestleMania of John Cena’s historic career and his first one as an antagonist.
He is expected to clinch his 17th World title at the show which will see Cody needing some time off to recollect himself and pursue the WWE championship yet again.
1. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns is inarguably one of the biggest superstars WWE has ever produced. He has mastered the art of storytelling and his historic title reign from 2020 to 2024 revived the interest of mainstream media in professional wrestling.
He will main event his 10th WrestleMania this year, which shows his longevity at the top of the card throughout his wrestling career.
However, fans don’t get to see him often these days as he has adopted a part-time schedule. It is being reported that once his clash against his former teammate, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk concludes at WrestleMania 41, Roman will take another break from the in ring competition.
