WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 will emnate live from Chicago.

The road to WrestleMania 42 runs straight through the unforgiving steel of the Elimination Chamber. With Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, LA Knight and Je’Von Evans already qualified, the field is beginning to take shape.

Trick Williams, Carmelo Hayes, and Damian Priest look to punch their ticket on SmackDown. Jimmy Uso has already put his brother’s name in the hat, making Jey Uso a likely entrant despite holding tag team gold.

But history suggests the six men inside the structure are rarely the only variables. The following five superstars could dramatically alter the outcome of the 2026 Men’s Elimination Chamber match.

5. Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu didn’t qualify for the WWE Elimination Chamber as Cody Rhodes pinned Sami Zayn in their triple threat. The Samoan Werewolf was protected, but may still hold a grudge against The American Nightmare.

The two stars never had their official match, and Fatu missed out on a huge opportunity because of Rhodes. Booking McIntyre vs Rhodes yet again is boring and repetitive.

Having Fatu interfere while the cage is open to cost Rhodes would be a shocking moment that could set up a huge match between the two on the biggest stage possible. The visual alone would send shockwaves through the arena.

4. The Vision

Bronson Reed or Logan Paul may be in the final qualifier on RAW. If Jey Uso wins the match, it’ll reignite the feud that’s been going on for nearly a year.

The Vision members have debuted at big PLEs, and the Elimination Chamber is the last big show before WrestleMania 42. Ending Jey or LA Knight’s dreams of a title match at The Showcase of the Immortals would be a consolation prize for the group.

They tried to prevent Knight from qualifying, so interference from The Vision is a strong possibility. A coordinated attack during a pod release or elimination sequence would fit their modus operandi.

3. Aleister Black

Aleister Black was involved in the triple threat won by Randy Orton. The Viper pinned Solo Sikoa to advance, but Black cut a pre-taped promo targeting Orton on the latest SmackDown.

The two also had a brief confrontation before the match, hinting that unfinished business remains. Since The Apex Predator will be in a featured match at WrestleMania, the feud could stem from Black costing him the chance to win the Elimination Chamber.

It would give Black a prominent spot come The Show of Shows, despite a likely loss in Las Vegas. A well-timed distraction or attack could instantly pivot Orton into a high-profile WrestleMania program.

2. Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre has done whatever he can to ensure Cody Rhodes doesn’t get another shot at the Undisputed WWE title. The tension between the two remains palpable.

Rhodes wasn’t supposed to be able to challenge McIntyre as long as he’s the champion due to a clause in the contract for the 3 Stages of Hell match. The American Nightmare still had a chance at the Elimination Chamber.

The Scottish Warrior also tried to prevent Rhodes from winning his qualifier since the contract clause meant nothing. He could do so yet again with the cage door open as an eliminated star tries to leave.

In a match defined by chaos, a single Claymore at the right moment could determine who headlines WrestleMania 42.

1. Brock Lesnar

Since the two leaders of The Vision are both injured, it may be time for Paul Heyman to officially add Brock Lesnar to the group. He teamed with the faction for a victory at WarGames in November.

Heyman also accompanied him to the ring for the Royal Rumble. Knight and Rhodes eliminated The Beast together, so he’ll want revenge on both men.

Crashing the cage to cost one or both men a victory would set up a potential WrestleMania match for Lesnar. Few moments would generate louder chaos than The Beast Incarnate tearing through steel.
