This will be the first PLE in Germany
The WWE Bash in Berlin is less than two weeks away. The historic premium live event will be the first in Germany, and anticipation is high for the presentation.
Gunther will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton. Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley will seek vengeance as they face the devious Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan.
Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens, on-screen pals, will compete for the coveted Undisputed WWE Championship. Finally, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will face off in a Strap Match. Given Triple H’s quality-over-quantity policy, the current match card is unlikely to see many substantial additions, with four matches already guaranteed.
However, Hunter’s criteria for fewer PLE matchups suggests that these four deserving superstars may not be scheduled for the WWE Bash in Berlin PLE.
3. Ilja Dragunov
Ilja Dragunov is regarded as one of the hardest wrestlers in professional wrestling. After all, The Mad Dragon beat Gunther to win the NXT UK Championship. Fans are yearning for the two hard-hitters to face off again, but it will not happen at the WWE Bash in Berlin.
Their performances on NXT UK were outstanding and well-recognized. Gunther and Dragunov have unrivalled chemistry, and fans would have enjoyed WWE allowing them to make magic in Berlin.
Nonetheless, Orton was named the World Heavyweight Champion’s challenger, while Dragunov remained unsure of his future. The Mad Dragon is of Russian and German heritage. He would have been a huge draw in Berlin.

2. Sheamus & Pete Dunne
The key reason for putting Sheamus and Pete Dunne as one entry is their continuing rivalry. The Bruiserweight surprised and abused his old master several times, resulting in a one-on-one match on the August 19 edition of RAW.
However, WWE should have reserved Sheamus vs. Dunne for Berlin. First and foremost, their brewing program was strong enough to earn a slot on the card. Second, given their European backgrounds, both men would have been fan favorites in Germany.
Triple H may attempt to plan a rematch between the former buddies, but he appears satisfied with scheduling the show as a TV feud, despite its appeal to the German audience at Bash in Berlin.
1. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns returns to put Solo Sikoa on notice and reclaim his Ula Fala. However, The Original Tribal Chief was written off television following a horrific attack by The Bloodline 2.0, and it does not look like Reigns will wrestle at Bash in Berlin.
The OTC may be WWE’s hottest act today. Babyface Roman Reigns has struck a chord with the crowd, who are eager to learn more about the former Universal Champion.
Given Reigns’ star power, his participation would have improved the card for Bash in Berlin. The PLE would seem more special and momentous when fans tuned in to witness the OTC’s first in-ring bout in months.
