The 10/11 episode of WWE SmackDown could be filled with big surprises!

WWE is all set to host the October 11, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown live from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, United States. This is the 2024 Bad Blood fallout episode of SmackDown and there is a huge anticipation for the show.

WWE also booked a number of interesting matches and segments for the show. Ahead of the show, here we take a look at the top five storylines to watch out for on this week’s SmackDown.

5. Lash Legend & Jakarta Jackson pull out an upset

Lash Legend and Jakarta Jackson are set to challenge Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. This is the main roster debut match for Legend and Jackson and it’s the right time to make a big impression. Legend and Jackson could pull up an upset by pinning the champs to either take the title to NXT or make their move to the main roster.

4. Andrade screw LA Knight for the US title

LA Knight is all set to defend the United States Championship on the line against Carmelo Hayes in a singles match. There is a huge chance that Andrade could interfere during the match. Although Andrade has big beef with both the stars, he could screw Knight his title accidentally, helping Hayes to win the US title.

3. Paul Heyman returns

As Jimmy Uso made his return at Bad Blood joining his Tribal Chief, the Wiseman Paul Heyman could also be making his return this week on SmackDown to join Roman Reigns. As the reunion is being rumored, Heyman could be the bridge to connect Jey Uso and Sami Zayn to the OG Bloodline.

2. Randy Orton turns on Cody Rhodes

After the 2024 Bad Blood PLE, Kevin Owens attacked Cody Rhodes in the parking area, which became a huge talking point in the company. As Owens made the move to attack Rhodes, The American Nightmare could address it on the show, where Randy Orton could confront Rhodes and turn his back following Owens. As Orton vs Rhodes is already being rumored, this could be a perfect time to initiate the story.

1. The Rock aligns with the new Bloodline

The Rock made his return at the 2024 Bad Blood PLE interfering with Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes during the celebration. Rock had a deep stare at them and walked backstage without a word. Although the Final Boss hasn’t spilled any work, fan footage of Solo Sikoa saying “it is a part of plan” suggests that Rock is on their side.

At this stage, Rock could make his WWE return to SmackDown this week and attack Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso to align with the new Bloodline. As the rumors suggest a War Games match between the OG and the new Bloodline at Survivor Series, this could be a great start for the rivalry.
