The 10/25 episode of SmackDown will take place in Brooklyn
WWE is all geared up for the October 25, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown that will be telecasted from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, USA. This is the final episode of the blue brand for this month.
The 10/25 episode will feature many WWE stars including Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Bianca Belair, and many more. Ahead of the WWE SmackDown event in New York let us take a look at the top five storylines to watch out for on this week’s SmackDown.
6. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez might attack Nia Jax
WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan is scheduled to face the WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax at Crown Jewel 2024 PLE. This champion vs champion clash is for the inaugural Crown Jewel title. Jax and Morgan have clashed last week ahead of their fight.
Jax also attacked Morgan and suggested her friend Tiffany Straton cash in her MITB contract right then. However, Morgan was saved by Dominik Mysterio. This might lead Morgan to make an appearance on the blue brand this week to confront Jax.
The WWE Women’s World Champion along with her enforcer Raquel Rodriguez might attack Jax and Stratton which would add to the storyline and make their clash at the Saudi event more intriguing for fans.

5. LA Knight interferes
The historic series between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes was scheduled to conclude during last week’s episode of SmackDown. However, both the stars got into an altercation backstage that led to the cancellation of the fight.
Their match is now scheduled for this week’s SmackDown with the current United States Champion LA Knight as the special guest referee. Hayes and Andrade are currently tied 3-3 in their last six matches. The involvement of Knight makes this fight more interesting as the winner will get an opportunity to fight the champion who happens to be the special guest referee.
There is a possibility that Knight might interfere with the fight which might lead to a triple-threat match between the three stars at the Crown Jewel 2024 PLE. The idea of a triple threat with the US title on the line is a great storyline that serves a massive card such as Crown Jewel.
4. Shinsuke Nakamura returns
WWE sensation from Japan, Shinsuke Nakamura has been absent from WWE action since his last appearance six months ago. He last made his appearance in the April 22 episode of WWE RAW.
As per recent reports from PWInsider, Shinsuke Nakamura is expected to make his long-awaited return at SmackDown during this week’s show in Brooklyn, New York. The return of Nakamura would be a huge addition to the blue brand. However, it is unclear if the Japanese star will return as a heel or face.
3. Gunther might attack Cody Rhodes
Ahead of their clash at Crown Jewel 2024 in Saudi Arabia, Rhodes invited Gunther for a face-off on Friday Night SmackDown. The WWE Heavyweight Champion discussed the callout on this week’s episode of Raw and confirmed that he will be in Brooklyn on Friday.
The two champions are scheduled to face at Crown Jewel 2024 for the inaugural Crown Jewel title. There is a possibility that the Heavyweight champion attacks Rhodes to send a message. Gunther might take the help of his old friend Ludwig Kaiser to attack the Undisputed champion.
2. Giovanni Vinci recuses Cody Rhodes
In an episode of RAW on April 22, 2024, Kaiser attacked his fellow Imperium member, Giovanni Vinci after a loss to The New Day. Vinci was brutalized by his friend as the group’s leader Gunther approved of Kaiser’s actions.
Kaiser was kicked out of the Imperium faction after the beatdown, he later returned in September to face Apollo Crews but lost his return fight too. Vinci has been absent from WWE programming since then. If Gunther and Kaiser attack Rhodes there is a possibility that Vinci might come to the aid of the Undisputed champion as his wounds at the hand of his Imperium brothers are still fresh.
1. Jey Uso joins forces with Roman Reigns
The former Intercontinental Champion Jey Uso lost his fight against Bron Breakker on this week’s episode of Raw. The loss came due to interference from Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline as they made an appearance on the red brand.
Jey lost the title after 27 days of reign, Jey has also been hesitant to join forces with his old companions Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso as the latter are unable to handle the rogue Bloodline on their own. This recent attack might force Jey to join forces once again with Reigns and Jimmy.
This would neutralize the numbers game that heavily favors Sikoa and faction while making the storyline even more intriguing. The three also have a long history of feud and friendship in the promotion and are among the most popular stars. Their team-up would generate immense interest among fans and might lead to a potential WarGames match between the new Bloodline and the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series 2024.
