Four matches have been announced for the 01/13 WWE Raw

The January 13th episode of Monday Night Raw will be the second installment of the Red brand in 2025. The 01/13 episode will be aired live from the SAP Center in San Jose, California, United States.

The promotion has announced a total of four matches for the show including the finals of the Women’s Intercontinental title tournament as well as a street fight. The show will also feature appearances from top stars including CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, and Gunther.

Ahead of the 01/13 episode let us take a look at the top five surprises you should watch out for this week’s show of the Red brand.

5. The Judgment Day interferes

Damian Priest and Finn Balor are scheduled to lock horns in this week’s show in a street fight. The two stars are locked in a fierce feud which was reignited at Survivor Series 2024 PLE.

There is a possibility of the Judgment Day interfering in the match to aid Balor, Priest who was a member of the faction has had collisions with the faction members and they will likely help Balor in the street fight.

Priest’s new allies and the WWE World Tag Team Champion War Raiders will likely aid him if the Judgement Day decides to interfere in the match.

4. Liv Morgan demands a rematch

Liv Morgan put her Women’s World title on the line against Rhea Ripley on the debut episode of the Red brand at the Intuit Dome last week. Unfortunately, Morgan was unable to pin Rhea as she exacted her revenge and defeated Morgan.

Ripley has now re-captured the title which she never lost for the second time in her WWE career. However, Morgan would likely demand a rematch on this week’s episode. The former champion might repeat her old trick and ambush Ripley in San Jose.

3. Chad Gable’s opponent is Penta El Zero Miedo

On the 01/06 historic show of the Red brand, Chad Gable along with the American Made faction interrupted General Manager Adam Pearce who was being interviewed by Cath Kelley backstage.

Gable lauded his own accomplishments, claiming that he single-handedly destroyed Otis and the Alpha Academy. Gable then stated that he wanted to face the best Lucador Pearce could find next week as he wanted to shut down the rumors that suggest he has trouble fighting Lucadors.

Gable’s likely opponent is Mexican wrestling star Penta El Zero Miedo, who recently signed with WWE after leaving AEW. The company has been airing vignettes featuring him on recent episodes of Raw. Penta’s unique branding made a notable appearance on last week’s show, confirming his arrival in WWE.

2. Dakota Kai wins the inaugural IC Title

Lyra Valkyria and Dakota Kai will clash in the final match of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament. The two stars defeated Iyo Sky and Zoey Strak respectively to advance into the finals.

While Valkyria is a rising talent and has showcased her ability as a pro wrestler on multiple occasions, recently defeating the former World Champion Iyo Sky. However, Kai is much more experienced and will likely pick up the win to become the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

1. Drew McIntyre attacks Jey Uso

Drew McIntyre in his quest to take out every member of the OG Bloodline took on Jey Uso on the debut episode of the Red brand on Netflix last week. McIntyre was going in with an unbeaten streak against Jey.

However, despite being in control of the match, Jey was able to roll him up for a cover and pick the win. This loss not only halted McIntyre’s momentum but also irked him after losing on the historic show.

McIntyre will look to make a definite statement on this week’s show and will likely attack Jey making it clear that the win was just a fluke. The Scottish Warrior would also not have liked Roman Reigns back in power and reclaiming the Ula Fala.
