This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown will take place in Minneapolis

The Stamford-based promotion is ready to deliver on this week’s show of the Blue brand following the Survivor Series PLE last week. The 12/06 episode of SmackDown is the fallout show from Survivor Series.

The 12/06 episode of the Friday Night SmackDown will be telecasted live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A. Ahead of this week’s show let us take a look at five surprises that could be in store for fans.

5. LA Knight heel turn

The former US Champion LA Knight has experienced an immense level of popularity among fans in a short amount of time. Knight has become one of the biggest stars of the Blue brand.

However, despite his popularity Knight hasn’t achieved much success and he even lost his United States title to Shinsuke Nakamura at Survivor Series 2024.

This might cause Knight to do away with his babyface and turn heel on this week’s episode. Knight could turn heel and create chaos if the storyline is done right the former champion could become one of the top heels in the promotion.

4. #DIY joins the dark side

The team of Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano (#DIY) has been in turmoil as Ciampa has been furious with his team being neglected. Ciampa has also been furious with MCMG who joined the WWE recently and won tag team gold.

Ciampa has attacked the tag champion in the past and on last week’s show he gave an ultimatum to his tag partner Gargano. Ciampa stated that if Johnny is unable to convince MCMG to give #DIY their title shot he will handle things his way.

There is a chance that MCMG rejects Gagano’s pleas for a title shot which might lead Johnny and Ciampa to turn heel and attack Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin setting up a feud between the two teams.

3. Nia Jax interferes during the Women’s US title tournament

WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax might aid her friend Tiffany Stratton during this week’s episode. Stratton is scheduled to face Noami and Elektra Lopez in the final match of the opening round.

The winner of the match will join Bayley, Michin, and Chelsea Green in the semi-finals of the tournament. The inaugural champion will be crowned on December 14 at Saturday Night’s Main Event, as the tournament reaches its conclusion.

There is a possibility that the WWE Champion might interfere to help her friend bag the win in the triple threat action.

Another possible angle behind this interference could be Tiffany’s Money in the Bank contract, which allows her a title shot at any time. Jax might be helping Stratton win the US title in exchange for Tiffany agreeing not to cash in her contract.

2. Jacob Fatu demands answers from Solo Sikoa

The Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa which consisted of Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed suffered a brutal beatdown and a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Roman Reigns, The Usos, Sami Zayn, and CM Punk.

Despite their team having the advantage in the WarGames clash as well as two giants in their team, the Bloodline came up short. Solo Sikoa was beaten down in the final moments as each member from the OG faction landed their finishing move to pin the incumbent Tribal Chief.

Even in the loss, Jacob Fatu outshined everyone as he showcased superhuman strength and durability. There is a possibility that the loss might have irked Fatu who will want to demand answers from his tribal chief on this week’s episode.

1. The Bloodline turns on Solo Sikoa

As mentioned above the Bloodline suffered defeat in the men’s WarGames clash at Survivor Series against the OG faction. The two factions clashed at the Rogers Arena on November 30.

Apart from a few moments, the Bloodline was in control for the majority of the match with Jacob Fatu and Bronson Reed crushing the opposition from the OG faction.

However, the OG faction rallied back and joined hands in taking out Sikoa to bag the win in the main event of the final PLE. Despite their loyalty to Sikoa, this loss might rub the Bloodline members the wrong way and they might demand answers from their Tribal Chief.

How do you think would the Bloodline react to their humiliating defeat at the Survivor Series? Do you think #DIY deserves a title shot? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.
