The inaugural Women’s United States Championship was unveiled by Nick Aldis
For the first time in the promotion’s history, WWE has introduced the United States Championship for the women’s division. In a taped message during the broadcast of the 11/08 show, Aldis appeared for his teased announcement and unveiled the new mid-card title.
General Manager Nick Aldis revealed the new WWE Women’s United States Championship, making it clear that the title wouldn’t be handed to anyone. Instead, it would be earned by the competitor willing to go above and beyond.
“It will not be awarded, it will not be given, it will be earned by whoever is willing to go above and beyond and seize the moment. Ladies! Opportunity knocks, and it’s time to answer and make history.” Aldis stated.
The Stamford-based promotion has announced a tournament that will be used to decide the inaugural Women’s United States Champion.
WWE COO, Triple H has revealed the list of competitors who will battle each other for a shot at the inaugural title. Triple H shared an image of the Women’s United States Championship tournament bracket via X (Twitter), which included: Bayley, Bianca Belair, Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green, Michin, Piper Niven, Naomi, Elektra Lopez, Candice LeRae, B-Fab, and Blair Davenport.

Where to watch WWE Women’s United States Championship tournament final?
The inaugural champion will be crowned on December 14 at Saturday Night’s Main Event, as the tournament reaches its conclusion.
In the first match of the tournament, Byaley took on Candice LeRae and B-Fab on the 11/15 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Bayley bagged the win in the triple-threat match and has advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament. The former champion also created history with her win against LeRae and B-Fab and has tied with the former WWE legend, Natalya with 684 wins.
