The 7/29 WWE Raw is the SummerSlam Go-Home episode!

WWE is all set to host the July 29, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw from the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. This is the final episode of Raw, before the SummerSlam PLE and the hype for the show is already on the peak. Ahead of the show, here are the top 5 surprises WWE can plan for this week’s Raw to spice up things.

5. Xavier Woods joins Final Testament

Karrion Kross has been asking Xavier Woods to join the Final Testament for a very long time, however, Woods has been neglecting the offer. One of the main reasons for Woods not accepting the offer is because of his past with the New Day.

As both Kofi Kingston and Big E of New Day have been away from WWE due to injury, it could be easy for Kross to manipulate him. Woods will be taking on Kross this Monday, where Kross could force him to join the Final Testament.

4. Dominik turns on Rhea Ripley

Dominik Mysterio was in a tense situation since Rhea Ripley’s hiatus, where Liv Morgan tried to take Dom from Rhea. Dom cleared it last week, as he dumped Liv Morgan saying that he never liked her. However, most of them believe that Dom could anytime turn on Rhea and align with Liv.

This could most probably happen this week on Raw when Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan are expected to take their storyline to the peak ahead of SummerSlam. WWE can plan for Dominik to turn on Rhea Ripley, which could create problems for Rhea at the PLE.

3. Uncle Howdy’s in-ring debut

Last week on Raw, Uncle Howdy showed up to save Alpha Academy and attacked Chad Gable with Sister Abigail. Howdy appeared in ring gear, which probably hinted that he could make his in-ring return too soon. As Howdy attacked Gable, this could result in Howdy’s in-ring debut against Chad Gable this week on Raw, ahead of WWE SummerSlam.

2. Gunther adds stipulation

Gunther will be facing Finn Balor of Judgment Day in a singles match this week on Raw, ahead of his world title match on Saturday. To avoid Judgment Day causing his world championship match at SummerSlam, Gunther could add the stipulation that if he defeats Balor, Judgment Day should be barred from the ringside.

1. Drew McIntyre & CM Punk team up

WWE in the past used to book two big rivals in a team for a tag team match, ahead of their big clash at the pay-per-view. Similarly, Adam Pearce can book Drew McIntyre & CM Punk as a team against any big tag team of Raw, to set the final hype for the SummerSlam PLE. As both Punk and McIntyre are not allowed to have their hands on each other until their match, this could be great fun to watch. Adding Rollins as the special referee for the tag team match could showcase a preview of their match.
