The 02/28 show will emanate from the Scotiabank Arena

The second and final PLE on the road to WrestleMania is approaching as WWE is arriving in Toronto to first deliver the Elimination Chamber go-home show of Friday Night SmackDown. The 02/28 episode of the Blue brand is set to emanate from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

A title match is set for the show where United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura will defend the title against LA Knight. Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green will also be in action, additionally, Trish Startus is set for an appearance on the show.

Ahead of tonight’s go-home show in the Scotiabank Arena, let us take a look at the top four surprises that could be in store for WWE fans.

4. MCMG calls out Street Profits

During the last week’s episode, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins (Street Profits) followed on their warning and attacked Tag Champions DIY (Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) and Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince) during their title clash.

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley (Motor City Machine Guns) rushed in to settle the score from the Royal Rumble PLE but they also received the same beatdown as DIY and Pretty Deadly. MCMG will likely call out the Street Profits tonight for a clash to settle the score and teach them a lesson.

3. Rift between Jacob Fatu & Solo Sikoa grows

The rift between Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu has been growing since Solo lost the Ula Fala against Roman Reigns at the Raw Netflix debut. Sikoa initially tried to mend fences and help Fatu win in the Elimination Chamber Qualifying match but he accidentally took out Tama Tonga.

Sikoa clarified that the attack on Tonga was a mistake and teamed up with Fatu to battle Braun Strowman and Damian Priest. However, this time it was Sikoa who got superkicked by Fatu who was attacking Priest and accidentally took out Solo. The fallout between the two stars will likely grow as the trust issue takes center stage.

2. Drew McIntyre & Damian Priest brawl to end the show

Similar to this week’s go-home show of Monday Night Raw, the Blue brand will also feature segment hyping up the fans for the Elimination Chamber PLE. Three stars qualified for the men’s Chamber PLE, CM Punk, Logan Paul, and Seth Rollins made an appearance on the show.

The remaining two participants, namely, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest, will likely cut a promo tonight. However, there is no love lost between the two stars and the two will likely start a brawl to end the show tonight.

1. Zelina Vega is the mystery opponent

During the last week’s episode, General Manager Nick Aldis announced that Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green will be in action in Toronto. However, Aldis didn’t reveal who Green’s opponent would be in Toronto.

While the US Champion has made a handful of enemies in recent times, her mystery opponent will likely turn out to be Zelina Vega, who recently switched brands from Raw and teased Green during a backstage segment.

Who do you think will be Chelsea Green’s opponent tonight? Do you want to see MCMG battle the Street Profits? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.
