Top four surprises to watchout for in WWE Draft 2024

The 2024 WWE Draft is all set to take place in weeks. This iconic event of brand split is said to take place for the 18th time. The Night 1 of WWE Draft will begin on the April 26, 2024 episode of SmackDown at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Following that, the Night 2 of the Draft will take place on the April 29, 2024 episode of Raw at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. As the whole WWE Universe is waiting for the superstar shakeup, here are 4 surprises to watch out for in the Draft.

4. New Heel Faction with Amateur Wrestlers

Chad Gable recently turned heel by attacking Sami Zayn after his title loss. Gable was seen training with The Creed Brothers. The trio was seen training together backstage teasing a possible new faction. Gable Steveson could also be drafted to the main roster and join them to form a Heel faction with Amateur Wrestlers. Gableson was also spotted wrestling in dark matches as a heel. It could be something similar to how Kurt Angle was booked during his debut.

3. Big WWE Stars could return

Some of the big WWE Superstars were away from television for a long time for a number of reasons. WWE Draft 2024 could bring back the stars back to the television. WWE Superstars such as Braun Strowman, Alexa Bliss, Carmella, and Erik of Viking Raiders.

2. NXT Stars drafted being Champions

It was previously reported that NXT could play a major role in WWE Draft 2024. A number of NXT stars could be moved on the main roster. It seems like we could also see some NXT Champions being drafted to the main roster including NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov & NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.

Last year, we witnessed Indi Hartwell moving to the main roster forfeiting her NXT Women’s Championship. This could be something similar to that. Both Ilja Dragunov & Roxanne Perez were part of the Raw after WrestleMania 40 and both secured a win. This could be a tease for their main roster move.

1. Big factions could split

In the history of WWE Draft, we have seen a number of factions split to different rosters. It seems like we could see a faction split this year, more probably The Judgment Day or The Bloodline. It seems like Damian Priest or Jimmy Uso could be the one who will be splitting their way with their factions.
