The Rock receives $9m worth of TKO shares following the success of recent WWE run

‘The Final Boss’ main evented Night 1 of WrestleMania 40

Nobody knew what was going to happen at WrestleMania 40 but what has happened actually made fans think that WWE has improved after it was merged as one of the sub companies under the TKO umbrella. The Rock certainly acted as a final boss and made WrestleMania XL one of the greatest of all time.

In January 2024, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson joined the Board of Directors of TKO Group Holdings, the parent company overseeing the WWE and UFC merger.

He also acquired the trademark rights to his stage name. It was stated that when he joined the company, The Rock received $30 million in TKO stock and his role in WWE included influencing major decisions and overseeing media aspects.

He being one of the main shareholders of the TKO group planned it so well that people saw a John Cena and The Rock faceoff with the Undertaker having a cameo.

With the grand success of his recent WWE run, The Rock received 96,558 bonus shares of TKO, which equals to around $9.41 million.

The Rock was recently seen aligning with his cousin Roman Reigns and was back in ring against the team of American Nightmare Cody Rhodes and Seth ‘‘Freakin’’ Rollins, and he was the one who pinned the American Nightmare, making his return one of the greatest one of all time.

In a recent segment on Monday Night Raw, he was seen exchanging belts with Cody Rhodes, which triggered the rumors that he will return soon after his Hollywood run and will challenge Cody for his Undisputed Championship which he recently won in the Main Event of WrestleMania night 2.

While the fans have already started anticipating his next WWE run, nobody knows who will go one-on-one against him. Cody Rhodes is one of the people who he can challenge for the Undisputed title in the upcoming Premium Live Event Summerslam and the other is his own cousin Roman Reigns who speared him during his fight against the Architect and the American Nightmare on WrestleMania Night 1.

While The Final Boss got his gift for being a part of one of the greatest WrestleMania of all time, fans are looking for his upcoming WWE return, that can happen sooner than expected, and who knows, maybe he can deliver something better when he returns again with his People’s Champion belt that he exchanged with Cody Rhodes on Monday Night Raw.
