The Rock & John Cena have a long history in WWE from 2011 to 2013, where they feuded against each other. They had a huge rivalry and it continued for over three long years.

They fought twice at the grandest stages of them all, WrestleMania 28 and WrestleMania 29, where Rock won the first match and John Cena won the second match. Although they seem to have ended their rivalry, at WrestleMania 40 they recalled the past rivalries by standing against each other. After the WrestleMania 40 encounter, The People’s Champ sent a warning to Cena taunting his catch phrase in style.

The Rock warns John Cena

On the main event of WrestleMania 40 Night 2, Roman Reigns defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes in the Bloodline rules match. Where a number of WWE stars interfered during the match including Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa, John Cena, Rock, Seth Rollins & Undertaker.

Jey Uso took Jimmy Uso with a super kick and spear to the entrance ramp, breaking the tables there. John Cena took Solo Sikoa down with an Attitude Adjustment breaking the table.

Following Cena’s interference The Rock confronted John Cena and delivered a Rock Bottom, asking him to walk backstage, before being chokeslammed by The Undertaker.

The Final Boss on X (fka Twitter) recalled the moment of hitting Rock Bottom on Cena by taunting his catchphrase “You Can’t See Me”, by saying “The Rock can always see you boy. – Final Boss” with the pictures of him & John Cena at WrestleMania 40.

Rock previously praised Cody, Roman & Seth

The Rock previously on his Instagram video praised Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins for their contributions to make WrestleMania 40 and even claimed Seth Rollins as the MVP of WrestleMania 40 weekend.

The Rock said,

“I want to say congratulations to the men that I was in the ring with. These guys are the best on the planet. Congratulations to Cody Rhodes, the new Universal Champion. As I said, when the Final Boss returns, he’s coming back for you. And I’ll make you bleed again, boy.”

“Congratulations, Cody Rhodes. Congratulations to my cousin, Roman Reigns on an incredible three and a half year run, maybe even four years. Just incredible and iconic and historic. Very, very proud of you, Uso.”

“And also congratulations to who I feel is the real MVP of the entire WrestleMania weekend, Seth Rollins. Seth Freakin’ Rollins. What an honor it was to share the ring with you three; what an honor it was to break records. And now my sights are set on the next WrestleMania. But that’s down the road.”
