The Rock to play a big role at WWE HOF & next Saudi Arabia PLE: Backstage report

The Rock has been working on a regular basis as a professional wrestler for a very long time. On the road to WrestleMania, the People’s Champion has been playing a major role. He is currently involved in an alliance with The Bloodline and feuding against Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins.

On the recent episode of SmackDown a Tag Team match involving Rock, Roman, Seth Rollins & Cody Rhodes has been confirmed for WrestleMania Night 1, which decides the Night 2 main event stipulation. As Rock’s WrestleMania 40 match got confirmed, backstage updates revealed that it is not his only big appearance, but also could play a big role in two significant events of the company.

The Rock to be part of Saudi Arabia’s event

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that they were told by the sources that The Rock is believed to be a part of the Saudi Arabia event this year.

“When asking if Rock will be working that show, we’re told there are a lot of variables in play and a variety of factors but obviously the company would like it if he would. But while nothing is set in stone, the belief as of right now is that Mania won’t be his only match in 2024 and there is definitely a push to get him to work at least one Saudi Arabia event this year.”

The Rock’s role in WWE Hall of Fame

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select earlier today reported that Rock played a significant role in WWE Hall of Fame inductees and other sources believe that every inductee is his input.

“Sources within WWE have told us that The Rock has had input on this year’s WWE Hall of Fame inductees. One indicated to us that would be evident if the planned inductees are revealed as scheduled. We weren’t given any additional info as to what that means. Another source said The Rock had input on all of this year’s inductees, though we’ve not confirmed that to be the case.”
