The Great One has been involved in some of the greatest events of WWE and has played a major part in it. One such thing is being in the high-profile matches at WrestleMania. Here we take a look at Rock’s WrestleMania win-loss record, with a brief journey through his matches.
The Rock’s WrestleMania record
Rock has wrestled a total of 11 matches in WrestleMania so far and has six wins and five losses. Here is a brief view of Rock’s WrestleMania journey.
At WrestleMania 13, Rocky Maivia made his WrestleMania debut against The Sultan defending his Intercontinental Championship and retained the title to mark his debut win at Mania (1-0).
At WrestleMania 14, The Rock (with The Nation of Domination) defended his Intercontinental Championship against Ken Shamrock and won the match by disqualification and marked his second win (2-0).
At WrestleMania 15, The Rock defended his WWF Championship on the line against Stone Cold Steve Austin in the main event of the show for the very first time, with Mick Foley as the Special Guest Referee. The Rock lost the match and title. This marks Rock’s first WrestleMania loss (2-1).

At WrestleMania 16, The Rock main evented the show for the second time by challenging Triple H for the WWF Championship in a Fatal 4-way match involving Mick Foley & Big Show. Triple H won the match and retained the title to mark Rock’s second consecutive loss (2-2).
At WrestleMania 17, The Rock defended his WWF Championship against Stone Cold Steve Austin in a No Disqualification match in the main event of the show. The Great One lost the match and the title. This is his third consecutive main event and third consecutive loss at WrestleMania (2-3).
At WrestleMania 18, Rock faced the returning Hollywood Hulk Hogan in a singles match, where The People’s Champ defeated Hogan and broke his own WrestleMania losing streak (3-3).
At WrestleMania 19, The Rock faced his greatest rival Stone Cold Steve Austin in a singles match and won. This marks Rock’s first win over Austin at WrestleMania (4-3).
At WrestleMania 20, Rock teamed up with Mick Foley dubbing themselves as Rock & Sock connection & faced Ric Flair, Randy Orton & Batista of Evolution in a 2-on-3 Handicap match. Evolution’s number game secured a win for their team by defeating Rock & Foley (4-4). This is the last WrestleMania of Rock in his first full-time wrestling career.
At WrestleMania 28, Rock faced John Cena in the main event of the show. Their match is the sole selling point of the show and is promoted as “Once in a lifetime”. Rock defeated John Cena and won the match (5-4).
At WrestleMania 29, Rock defended his WWE Championship against John Cena in a rematch at the main event of the show. John Cena won the match and ended his three year long feud (5-5).

At WrestleMania 32, Rock came for a sporadic appearance, however Wyatt Family surrounded him to make an impromptu match. Rock faced Eric Rowan of Wyatt Family & won the match in just 6 seconds (6-5).
At WrestleMania 40, The Final Boss will be teaming up with Roman Reigns and will take on Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins in a tag team match.
