The Final Boss is one of the biggest stars in WWE history

Since transitioning into Hollywood, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has become one of the biggest superstars, transcending barriers and becoming a cultural icon. Johnson has had similar success in the WWE becoming one of the most electrifying stars in the promotion.

Even after transition to Hollywood, Johnson has made erratic appearances and competed in a handful of matches. In 2024, Johnson joined the TKO Group Holdings board of directors and has made multiple appearances since then.

His most recent appearance was during the Elimination Chamber 2025 PLE, where the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes rejected his offer, leading John Cena to turn heel for the first time in his career and attack Rhodes.

The stage is now set and it would be interesting to see what The Rock has in store for fans ahead of the WrestleMania 41 PLE. Johnson has always shined when the spotlight is on him and such has been the case about his WrestleMania performances.

Johnson’s first Mania appearance came at the 13th edition of Mania, which emanated from the Rosemont Horizon in Rosemont, Illinois, USA. Johnson then competed under the ring name, Rocky Maivia and successfully defended the WWF Intercontinental title against The Sultan.

The Rock’s last WrestleMania appearance came at the 40th edition of the grandest stage where he teamed up with Roman Reigns to battle the team of Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. It would be interesting to see if Johnson will partake in this year’s Mania in any capacity.
